Narrator Pov. At Agasa's~

Kudo is now complaining, again, to Agasa, asking when are clues of the men in black coming in.

Honestly, Sakura would've reminded him that the drug was something they themselves made and that Megure didn't recognize those 2 as criminals on the run at the roller coaster, but she didn't care enough to say that.

Instead, she just let Agasa do the talking as she looked over at her new shoes.

She half-expected Agasa to forget about her request for her own special shoes, but he surprised her when he showed that he finished them earlier than Kudo's power shoes were done.

He even made sure to explain the way to activate its mechanics.

Maybe, she'll get a chance to use them soon enough.

Though, unlike Kudo, she doesn't mind waiting.

When Agasa's chemical in the beaker changed color and started producing smoke, she safely ducked behind a table, pulling Kudo with her.

Thanks to that, they didn't get dirty from the explosion and instead, Agasa got a deadpan look from Kudo before Sakura walked over and started to treat his injuries then cleaned the place with Kudo's help before they left.

They encounter Kogoro on the way back, holding a newspaper while looking inside a building which gets Edogawa curious, but Irene just continues on her way home since she knows what this is about and ends up getting there earlier than Edogawa.

She couldn't deny how she felt a little bit impatient for this one though...

After all, it's been a while since she got into danger.

Three days later at night, Kogoro was laughing while holding an envelope full of money, talking about how the case was easy.

Then Mouri pointed out that it was after the duo came which made Edogawa let out an "Eh?" as he looked up at Mouri who added that they both were the ones who brought this luck. Making sure to say it in English so Irene would understand.

Irene blinked while Edogawa just tried to deny it before Kogoro asked about the two's parents, wondering how long the duo would have to stay.

At least, Irene could guess that was what he was saying.

Thank god that she remembers the dialogue's translation...

Mouri answered with what Agasa told her and how Irene's parents weren't even responding.
