Narrator pov. Continuing~

Mio first thanked everyone for coming before announcing that they were going to play the 30-second game in celebration of the Tokiwa corporation's 30th anniversary.

The real kids were surprised since they knew the game thanks to Mitsuhiko then Mio explained the rewards for both winning and, if there was a tie, losing in the tie.

When she mentioned how the Mustang would be the winning reward, all the males, even little boys, got excited as they wanted the car.

Irene tilted her head as she mumbled, "I get the adults but the little boys do know that they can't drive the car right?" quietly to Edogawa who sighed and shrugged.

Also, even if they wanted their parents to have the car, by the time they themselves were old enough to use it it would be too old and rusty, she just didn't get it.

Anyway, Mio added that the reward for losing a tie was the mountain bike and helmet which made the adults laugh but the little girls in the room all liked the bike and wanted to have it, smart enough to know that they couldn't drive yet, but they could enjoy the bike now.

The trio could hear the real kids talking about how they were going to win with Irene by their side which made Edogawa comment, "Taku, they sure like to take someone else's credit."

Irene nodded a bit.

When Mio asked for the participants to leave their watches in the basket and Chinami started walking around the crowd with the basket, the trio told her that they weren't playing when she got to them.

And then all the kids had to walk upfront, including the trio which was when the real kids realized that Irene wasn't playing, this made them worry but the trio didn't give them much mind.

After the game, which Kogoro won only because of a baby crying suddenly, Hosui and Kazama were called to the stage and the lights were turned off.

An employee went to the podium and started introducing Hosui's paintings which started being shown through a slideshow and when he gestured to the curtains behind him to introduce the last and newest painting then the curtains opened.

The crowd screamed as there was yet another body, Mio's to be exact, hanged in front of the painting.

Irene closed her eyes and lowered her head in respect as Kogoro and Edogawa ran to the stage.

Well, this is where the chaos starts.
