Narrator pov. Continuing~

Irene just finished the tour and led Edogawa to his temporary room for now, the room was big, but not the huge size and she opened the door and stepped aside to let him walk in, "Here you go."

Edogawa stepped into the room and looked around, seeming impressed by the size of the room, again he looked like a real child with his curious expression, he let go of the suitcase he had been pulling with him.

Irene didn't notice her lips curving up in another small smile as she said, "Lunch will be ready soon. You'll get to meet more people when that time comes. So get ready." the smile faded as she finished.

Edogawa looked back at her, seeming a little nervous, but also curious still, as he nodded and asked, "Who am I meeting?"

Irene answered, "Our neighbors. They're the ones who cook the food for us. Don't worry, they're nice people." she gently assured in the end as he nodded again.

And smiled slightly, "I can't wait to meet them then."

She nodded back, "Make yourself comfortable till then. And if you want to come with us downstairs, you can. Ja ne." with that, she closed the door and walked back downstairs.

She got down to the living room just when Kuroba, with that mischievous grin of his, started going upstairs.

Irene, being able to tell what he was planning, said, "Remember not to do anything stress-inducing." with a glance at him.

He gave her a thumbs up as his grin widened and he went to Edogawa's room.

There was a knock before the door was answered and then a poof of smoke along with a small pop.

If Irene looked, she'd see that Edogawa suddenly had an ace card in his hair, also some confetti.

The amnesiac detective blinked before looking up and noticing, blushing in embarrassment as Kuroba started laughing.

"Now your hair looks less boring, you're welcome." the prankster said, teasing and laughing

Edogawa shook off the confetti with slight annoyance as he pouted, taking the card that seemed to be stuck to his hair off. Thankfully, it was off with just one pull.

Kuroba just kept laughing before he started going back downstairs with a wave while saying, "Well, ja na! Hope you have a good time staying with us!"

Edogawa watched him go before he closed the door and sighed, 'Geez... She wasn't kidding, he really is a big prankster...' 

He looked down at the card before turning it around and seeing a message.

{Take this as a welcome gift. And know that even though you're in an unfamiliar place, you have nothing to worry about. K.K}

 The card had some string sticking out of it and when he pulled it, it turned out to be more confetti.

He humphed but smiled slightly as he shook it off him, 'So that's his way of making a first impression? And a welcome gift, really?'

He looked down before he finally saw it, the confetti somehow stuck together to form another message.

{Welcome, Edogawa Conan.}

He gaped as he blinked, "How...?"

He shook his head as he smiled, 'So that's the real welcome gift...' he mumbled, "Thank you... Kaito-niichan." 

He then opened up his suitcase and started to unpack.

AN: Done! Hope you guys liked it!

Well, Conan seems to already know how Kaito does his pranks. At least his hair didn't get dyed. XD

And the prank turned out wholesome too. X3
