Narrator pov. The next morning~

The nightmare Irene had last night stopped her from getting any more sleep. It was so sudden but it also felt true.

She hugged her knees on the bed, mumbling about how sorry she was, but then she realized she had someone to talk to about this.

She slowly loosened her hold on her knees and got off the bed.

She was going to give Miyuki a visit.

After getting ready and writing a note to leave for Kuroba to read, she unlocked the door with the spare key, locking it behind her before she was on her way.

She arrived at Beika and then Miyuki's apartment complex an hour later and rang the doorbell.

A reply of, "Hai!" came from the other side before the door was opened and Miyuki immediately saw Irene, who had definite signs of not having slept enough, and worriedly asked, "Sakura-chan? What's wrong?"

Irene said, "I... I need to talk to you. I'm going to explain everything now. So..."

Miyuki nodded and let her in and they both sat in the living room, Miyuki served some milk tea which Irene smiled at her gratefully for, taking her cup, and taking some sips to calm herself down as she started to explain everything that happened since Miyuki's death until now.

Miyuki listened intently, sometimes looking mad though Irene knew it was at the bullies, and sometimes looking completely heartbroken for her.

At the end, Irene let her cup down as she started shaking, "A... And now that I have my emotions back, I'm starting to get nightmares of every blame I got. Especially for not saving people here in this world.  Akemi-san... Seiji-san... The time Kudo-kun got amnesia..."

She rubbed her arms, "I don't blame either Kudo-kun or Miyano-san for what they said, they're not mean. Heck, Kudo-kun even apologized for yelling that he hated me the moment we saw each other again at school. But... they're both right. I should've tried more-"

"You probably wouldn't be able to change anything if you did try." Miyuki finally spoke, cutting Irene off as she looked up at her.

Miyuki continued, "Trust me Sakura-chan. I tried to change things too, but it didn't work. Remember the New York case with Vermouth as the serial killer? I couldn't stop it. And all the other cases we know happened in the past... They still happened even though I tried."

She looked down a bit sadly in regret but lifted her head up to keep looking at Irene, "It was hard for me to stop blaming myself for all the failures I did. But Jodie-san and the other FBI assured me that it was fine. Knowledge is power, but sometimes it's not enough. You can't save everyone. It's just how life works."

She smiled hopefully, "So, we both couldn't or didn't save everyone before. But Sakura-chan, you said that you started to change things more, right? That means that we can still be helpful. We can't let all the other times we failed to save them, stop us from trying."

"Now that you can think emotionally again, you shouldn't let your emotions cloud your mind." She leaned back against her seat on the couch, "Just because you knew it would happen and didn't stop it, doesn't mean it was your fault. After all, you weren't who planned and did it."

Irene looked down and Miyuki added, "Same with the orphanage." that made Irene look up at her in surprise, "You may have spilled the oil then, but that wasn't your fault since it wasn't on purpose. Neither was it your fault that everyone else died and you survived just because you had the extinguisher."

She walked over and picked Irene up, giving her a hug, "I'm sorry that even happened, but I want to assure you that none of it was your fault. Those bullies were just being jerks like usual. It's okay, just let it out."

Irene sobbed before she hugged Miyuki back tightly and let all her anguish from all the years of her life after her best friend died out.

It took a few moments, but Irene calmed down and quietly said, "Arigato, Miyu-chan." Miyuki smiled and replied, "It's no problem. Feeling better?"

Irene looked up at her with a small smile and nodded, "Yeah. I really needed that. Both hearing your advice and a chance to actually let it out since... Well, I just blocked all my emotions out as a way to cope last time."

Miyuki let her down before pouting as she said, "I'm going to give those two a good talking to about what they said."

Irene immediately stopped her, "No! I already told you, Kudo-kun apologized and he's even making up for it, being a better friend."

She unconsciously adjusted the brooch on her hair with a slight blush before adding, "And Miyano-san... She has a good reason to say that. I mean, I did let her sister die... And I'm getting closer to her with every chance I have, so please don't ruin it."

Miyuki sighed and replied, "Alright fine. Only because you ask me to." Irene added, "... And don't tell anyone about this either. Please." Miyuki nodded and said, "Promise I won't."

Irene smiled at her before saying, "So... Since I'm already here, want to hang out like old times?"

Miyuki grinned, "Oh absolutely! You're going to tell me all the good things that happened now! I also have written new poetry! Give me a minute." she then rushed out and came back with a notebook before sitting down next to her.

They chat and talk over some milk tea for the rest of Irene's time there.

And that was what happened on the day of the angel's venting.

AN: Done! I hope you guys liked it!

Yeah, Irene finally talks to Miyuki about everything since she's the only one she can vent to who would understand.

Miyuki gave some really good advice so that ended well, for now.

And yes, Miyuki is into poetry.

So what did you guys think? Did you like it? Which part was your favorite? Hope to see your feedback soon!

That's all. See you next chapter!

Stay sweet my fellow anime lovers!~
