Irene was lying on her futon in Mouri's room, awake while everyone else was asleep by now.

The kidnapping case already happened and was done with. And it went just like she described it.

Edogawa though, seemed to be in denial.

To be fair, she didn't really expect him to believe it so easily.

But, the way he kept ignoring her the whole time after that.

It was interesting to see.

She could've even thought it was funny if she still had color.

Not only him though...

Her meeting with Kogoro was also interesting.

He seemed to sometimes forget she was there at all with how silent she was through the whole case, which was proven by how he jumped every time he saw her just staring.

Mouri was, technically, the opposite, she kept holding her the whole time at the case and seemed to have wanted to strike up a conversation with her.

She even asked her the same question she asked Edogawa about if she had a crush at school.

Interestingly enough she knew to ask in English.

It didn't take Irene long to figure out how she knew, after all, she didn't respond to her earlier when she was talking in Japanese.

As for her answer? Obviously, she just said no with her usual emotionless expression and tone.

She could tell that Mouri was caught off guard by it.

Though she kept trying to get her to talk.

It was... a distraction more than anything.

Especially because Irene kept answering no to most of her questions.

Like if she had hobbies, friends, or a favorite color.

She could tell that Mouri was almost frustrated by the end of it, especially since her answers were just a short one-worded no.

However, she could tell that Mouri also wasn't giving up.

Mostly because she had a determined look similar to Ayumi's.

But, the whole thing with the dog coming to ask for help ended that conversation for good.

And Mouri didn't get any other chance after that.

Though she begged Kogoro to let Irene stay, even if it looked like he was already considering it for some reason.

Honestly, Irene expected him to just throw her back to Agasa's with how creeped out he was with her, so that was a convenient surprise.

But she caught Edogawa staring at her weirdly more than once the whole way back.

His denial behaviors were pretty... what was the word?

'Hmm... What word would work...?'

Ah, this is the first time in a while she got stuck describing something or someone.

Oh well, it doesn't really matter if she can't describe how his denial looks.

Better get to sleep, she has school tomorrow.

AN: Done! I hope you guys liked it!

Well, looks like Conan is still in denial about Irene's knowledge, wonder how long it would last?

What did you think of how Irene struggled to remember the right word to describe Conan's behavior around her? And did you guess what the word she wanted to use was? Hope to see your feedback soon!

That's all. See you next chapter!

Stay sweet my fellow anime lovers!~
