True Happiness (rewrite version)

(1) The start of the Butterfly effect

AN: Hehe. Movie 4 (Captured in Her Eyes for those who don't remember them by number). The idea I'm doing for this will be really interesting. It will start in Conan's pov btw (yes you saw that right). Also, yes it will be in parts because it's too long to be put in one- Hope you enjoy it!

Narrator pov. Two days after the first two murders, the afternoon at Beika Sun Plaza for the Wedding celebration party~ (Yeah all of that doesn't change so)

The Mouri Household members along with Suzuki were now reading the floor plan to see which floor number was the one where the party was being held as Kogoro commented about how the timing of the wedding being in the middle of an investigation was a bad idea.

They found the desired floor and went to ride the elevator as Mouri defended that it wasn't Shiratori's sister's fault since it's been planned a long time before the case started, Edogawa added his own input by reminding Kogoro what the party actually was as they were now in front of the elevator that had just opened to let 2 people who were riding it walkout.

Kogoro got annoyed since he already knew about all they said and said so before they walked into the elevator and rode it up to the floor where the party was.

During the ride, Suzuki asked about the groom and Mouri said that he was an artist, Kogoro added that he was an unsuccessful one which made Suzuki say, "An unsuccessful one... I guess I can only expect so much of his friends..."

Edogawa thought 'If only you knew about Karashima's former hobby and talent.' to himself with a quiet sarcastic laugh. 

Later, they arrived at the party and Kogoro was signing his name on the guestbook when a certain lawyer behind them spoke, commenting on his handwriting which made Kogoro flinch since he recognized the voice as Mouri looked behind her and smiled as she saw her mother.

Kogoro asked how Eri was invited as well and she walked over to sign her own name as she explained how the bride was her client's daughter.

Suzuki looked at her signature and complimented her handwriting, Edogawa noted in a deadpan that the two were signing separately despite being a couple.

They went to the reception desk, where Mouri placed her bag and took her number token before she and Suzuki started walking to the party hall. Edogawa was with them though he stopped once he saw a certain umbrella in the umbrella rack before Mouri called him back over and he caught up to the girls.

As expected of a wedding party, there were a lot of guests talking to each other in the hall, which Suzuki commented on and Kogoro looked around before he noticed that Megure was here too, though he was with other officers discussing something with each other with serious looks.
