Narrator pov. Two days later at the Kuroba's that night~

Irene, Edogawa, and Kuroba had just returned from dinner at the Nakamoris like usual when the house phone rang, Kuroba went to answer it while Edogawa went ahead to change and get ready for bed.

Irene went to the bathroom as Kuroba said, "Moshi Moshi Kuroba residence." into the phone.

Irene just walked up the stairs when she heard Kuroba say, "Ah, Jii-chan. What's up?" and she thought 'Jii-san is calling? Wonder why. There's no heists planned right now...' but other than that she didn't give it much thought.

It was when she reached the bathroom and was going to hold the doorknob to open it that Kuroba then called out, "Oi Thorny! It's for you." from his place downstairs by the phone. 

She paused and let out an "Eh?" before turning back around and going back down to take the phone.

Once she reached it, Kuroba gave her the phone and she asked, "Moshi Moshi Jii-san?"

Jii immediately replied, "Ah, Sakura-ojosama! There you are. Agasa-Hakase called me earlier and wanted me to send you a message from Edogawa Conan's guardians."

Irene blinked, "From... The Mouris? Well, what did they need?"

Jii explained, "The doctor that's in charge of watching the boy's condition wants to check up on him as soon as possible." Irene's response was silence, "He says that after school would be fine."

Irene looked down, 'Kazato-san... So he just couldn't stay still without knowing his progress huh? Well, it's not like he would get anything much from him... And as long as I get to be there to make sure he doesn't try anything...'

She looked back ahead and replied, "Alright, tell them we'll come tomorrow after school." she looked up at the clock, "It's not that late yet, so they should receive the message if you tell Hakase now."

Jii said, "Ah, alright then. Will do so right away. Oyasumi, Sakura-ojosama." She replied, "Oyasumi Jii-san." and then hung up the moment she heard Jii do the same.

She noticed Kuroba giving a questioning stare and she looked up the stairs to make sure Edogawa wasn't listening before she explained, "Kazato-san wants to do a checkup on him."

Kuroba's eyes narrowed, as she had told him the full story of what happened before when explaining her plan, and he asked, "And he's going?"

She answered, "I'm going with him to keep an eye on him, don't worry." she looked back at him, "I don't think he'd try anything if he knows that he doesn't remember anything, but better to be safe than sorry."
