Narrator pov. Continuing~

Back in the hospital, Kogoro told Eri and Mouri about Irene's conclusion and idea. Mouri seemed a little reluctant but she agreed with it since it really was safer for Edogawa that way, Eri also thought the same thing.

Then a nurse came in and told them that Kyosuke wanted to talk about Edogawa and the result of the MRI scans that were done.

So they were now in his office and he explained, "After reviewing the MRI scan, there seems to be no damage to his brain. Well, Conan-kun's memory loss... it seems he received a huge impact on his skull which caused it."

He took a seat beside his desk as Mouri sat on a couch with Eri and Kogoro sitting on the opposite seat together and Kogoro asked, "So if we take him back to the hotel and recreate the incident, he might remember things?"

Mouri let out an "Eh?!" and Eri said, "What are you saying?! There's no need to force him to remember things he doesn't want to remember!"

(Eh... Actually, I'm pretty sure he'd want to remember if he was still himself.)

Kogoro asked, "Then what? Are you saying you don't care if Conan never regains his memories?" Eri replied, "I'm against putting him through more pain." Mouri said, "Mou, can't you two just get along for once?"

(Hah. NO. And because Conan isn't staying at the agency, they won't have a reason to. >:D)

Kyosuke calmed the situation and confirmed that forcing Edogawa to recall things would stress him out, which surprised Kogoro as Eri agreed before Kyosuke got a call and answered it.

After he was done with the call, Mouri was the one who asked if it was at least possible for Edogawa to regain his memory naturally to which he confirmed as he said, "Usually, in a lot of cases, he's more likely to recall things in a relaxed environment." which made Mouri sigh in relief and then they all thanked him and stood up to leave.

Though Kogoro remembered and said, "Ah, by the way, Conan would be staying with one of his friends while recovering, we thought it'd be safer that way." Kyosuke seemed surprised but he still nodded at the information before the three left.

Back with Irene, she reached Kuroba's house and just told him her plan, explaining her reason.

He seemed to think, "So the meitantei would be staying with us while amnesiac..." he started to grin as he let out a cheeky laugh, "Oh, this will be fun~"

Irene just looked at him and said, "Don't prank him too much, stress is not good for him right now. And that means no traps around the house either."

He pouted, "Fine..." before she looked over to the house next door and added, "Now we have to tell Nakamori-san and her father so they'd be prepared."

He replied, "We can tell them tonight at dinner, we have two more days anyway."

Well, looks like Kaito is more than okay with the plan. Feel bad for Conan though XD

And hah, Kyosuke is confused and secretly frustrated. Good. He deserves it. ÙwÚ
