Narrator Pov. Nakamori residence the night before at dinner~

"Eh? Irene-chan, your class is having a parent-teacher meeting tomorrow?" was the question that came from Nakamori as Irene brought up the topic while at the table.

Kuroba already knew for a while but Irene just brought it up to the Nakamoris tonight as it was tomorrow.

Irene nodded and answered, "Un. Our sensei kept reminding us for a while. But I already know that Kaito-niichan can't come since he has school too then." 

Kuroba looked guilty about it as he obviously didn't like the fact that he couldn't come, Irene didn't mind though, she already knew.

 Nakamori felt bad for her apparently as she said, "I'm so sorry." 

Irene just shook her head.

Ginzo then spoke up, "I can go for you if you want Irene-kun."

Irene looked up at him and shook her head, "You're a police inspector, Ginzo-Ojisan, you shouldn't leave your post." 'Especially since Kid is going to strike soon.' she added in her mind, "No one has to come, I'll be fine." 

With that, she continued eating to signify that she wasn't going to talk about this anymore and there was no changing her mind.

The rest of the people at the table stared for a second before sighing and following her example, knowing the obvious sign at this point.

She might be the only one in her class who won't have a parent come, but with her being colorless, she didn't care about that.

Time skip to the next day at school (Brought to you by Ayumi's love for hugs)~

Irene arrived at her classroom to see a piece of paper taped to the door with {Class 1-B Parent-Teacher meeting} written on it, her being able to read it since they were taught this kanji already.

She blinked at it before sliding open the door and walking in, Ayumi and Edogawa being the first to notice her as usual, as she walked to her desk next to Ayumi who greeted, "Ohayo Irene-chan!" happily and Irene returned, "Ohayo." as she sat down and then Kobayashi walked in.

That's right, Kobayashi. Totani already got married and quit a while ago, and the rest of the detective boys already solved the mystery of the school's "curse" and found out about Kobayashi's fear.
