AN: This is another original chapter. It's the meeting between Conan and Ai with Miyuki. 

Also, I'm starting college again tomorrow but I have a 3-day weekend. So I can still update the story whenever I'm free.

Narrator pov. At the apartment complex~

Irene kept her word and ended up finding a day when both Miyuki and Edogawa, especially Edogawa because, cases, were both free to tell Edogawa to meet someone at the address of Miyuki's apartment complex, giving Miyuki a heads up about who was coming.

While waiting in front of the building, Irene smiled as she remembered Miyuki's reaction to the fact that she'd meet Edogawa already.

"First, I met the Kuroba Kaito. And now Kudo Shinichi/ Edogawa Conan?! You are so lucky Sakura-chan!" she had said excitedly.

Irene leaned against the wall as she looked at her watch, 'He's running late... Did I forget about a case happening today?' she thought worriedly.

Maybe she did, but what case would be happening today?

She kept thinking about it before she heard footsteps approaching, what was weird was that it was the footsteps of two people.

She looked up just as she heard him calling out, "Oi!" only to see Edogawa himself running over... With Haibara next to him.

"Eh?" she let out in confusion and surprise, why was Haibara here?

She decided to wait until they were next to her to say anything as Edogawa panted with his hands on his knees and Haibara, who was walking, just stopped.

When he caught his breath, he finally said, "Sorry I'm late." as he stood up straight.

Irene shook her head and replied, "Ah, no, it's alright..." She then looked at Haibara with a tilted head which Edogawa noticed.

He explained, "Actually, I stopped by Hakase's since he wanted to do a check-up on my gadgets and I told them both where I'm going today. Haibara kept insisting on coming along so I brought her since she wouldn't take no for an answer." 

Irene's eyes then lit up in realization and understanding as she said, "Ah, so that's why you were late. I thought that you just ended up in a case I forgot about."

He gave a deadpan look, "You make it sound like I bump into cases often."

At that, both girls looked at him with deadpan looks back and replied, "Don't you?"
