Narrator pov. In the car ride~

"Eh?! There's a 24th movie already?" Miyuki asked in surprise and Irene nodded, "Yep."

After listening to the others talk about the fake train lead through the badge, Irene decided to catch Miyuki up on what she missed from the anime after her death.

Irene smiled and said, "You know, he got a movie with his name on it that he got to star in."

Miyuki blinked, "Who?"

Irene gave her a knowing look, "Your favorite."

Miyuki blushed, "Oh." she still looked ahead to drive but it was obvious she was a bit happy.

Irene giggled, "Aww, so you do still like him."

Miyuki pouted, "Shut it, Sakura."

Irene just giggled more.

They then heard the badge beep so Irene answered it only for it to be Edogawa telling them that they were meeting up in a certain restaurant to which Irene responded that they'd be there.

She looked out the window, "Huh, I didn't notice it's already the next day."

Miyuki nodded, "Me neither. Also aren't you sleepy?"

Irene gave her a look, "Miyuki, I literally told you how I have nightmares, and had insomnia before that, I'm used to not sleeping much."

Miyuki sweatdropped, "Oh right."

Anyway, they got to the restaurant and met up with the others, the real kids were impressed by Miyuki's car which made her even more proud while Irene giggled.

They then entered the restaurant before Sato treated the others to some food while Miyuki treated herself and Irene.

Irene's eyes lit up once she saw a strawberry cake being placed in front of her and she smiled before eating it, making Miyuki giggle fondly, Edogawa also noticed and he smiled.

Takagi then told the kids to come with him but Miyuki and Irene shared a look before Miyuki said that she'd take care of taking Irene home and they both left after saying bye again in Miyuki's car.

"It's time they figure it out and go there," Irene said as she looked at her watch while sitting in the passenger seat.

Just when she said that, the badge beeped and so Irene answered it to hear Edogawa explaining his deduction about the bomb in the Toto Tower.

From the Morse code they could hear in the background, both girls knew he was also asking for confirmation.

Irene used her finger to tap on the badge "yes" while saying, "Toto Tower? Alright, we're on our way." 

She knew he got the message as he then hung up and Miyuki, who was already driving to the tower, sped up.

It was time for the next step that would save others.

This time, it was saving Edogawa and Takagi.

AN: Done! Hope you guys liked it!

Yeah, this didn't show much but at least we get some scenes before the action.

And we see Miyuki and Irene's friendship being shown a bit.
