Narrator pov. At the art museum~

While the kids and Edogawa were looking at some things related to old treasures, Irene, who wasn't interested in those, was looking at an old scroll and reading its English translation to understand it as she was interested in learning about Japan's history rather than some treasure.

She kept looking for more historical items that involved Japanese history until it was time to leave the museum and the 5 kids gathered at the exit before leaving.

When Ayumi said, "How interesting!" Irene just nodded in agreement as she thought 'I actually got to learn some new things from this...' but didn't say anything out loud since only Edogawa knew where she went in the museum.

The kids and Edogawa had the rest of the conversation until a certain paper landed at Genta's feet.

As Genta picked it up, Irene glanced to the side to see the robbers who didn't notice them yet.

She'd have to wait before she could get the kids out of danger.

Genta then caught the others' attention as he asked what the paper was and they all looked before the next conversation started.

Irene stared as Genta started shouting and waving the paper up in the air and she saw that the robbers were looking at them now but couldn't really say anything.

And then Genta announced them being the Shounen Tantei Dan, or the Detective Boys, from today onward.

Irene shrugged at this since she saw it coming as the other two real kids happily agreed with that. Then Genta announced himself as the leader which made Irene blink as only Ayumi and Mitsuhiko agreed, so technically 2 out of 4 people were okay with it, well 3 out of 5 if you count Genta's vote...

Edogawa facepalmed and Irene just patted him on the back.

The real kids then happily started to leave until they realized they had no idea where to go first which made Irene shake her head.

She'd let Edogawa take the lead for now, she just had to give herself enough time to "figure out what the map means" so she wouldn't risk being suspicious somehow, to the kids at least.

After Edogawa pointed out the Toto Tower, they started running to ride the bus there, Irene being the only one to notice the 3 robbers running behind them.

When they got on the bus, Irene glanced back out the rear window to see the robbers riding a taxi behind them while the kids started their conversation.
