Narrator pov. When they arrive at Ekoda station~

Irene had ended her story about how she learned Japanese a while ago, along with explaining what her new name in this world was before she asked Miyuki exactly how old she got when she got here and what happened.

The moment Miyuki saw that they were at Ekoda station, she stopped talking as her eyes widened in realization and she looked down at Irene who was smiling knowingly.

"No way..." Miyuki said in disbelief, "You're joking."

Irene grinned, having expected that reaction, and only replied, "Hey, this is your chance to get an autograph, make sure we're alone with him first though." as she gestured to follow her to the house.

Miyuki was now grinning and Irene smiled, it was good to know that Miyuki hadn't changed much, and especially that she hadn't stopped being a Kid fan.

They arrived at the house while laughing and chatting with each other more and then Irene just went inside without a care in the world as she greeted, "Tadaima!~" happily for the first time.

Kuroba greeted back, "Okaeri!" sounding relieved which made Irene smile a bit.

She gestured for Miyuki to follow her and they both met him at the living room.

He stood up and gave Miyuki a polite bow before Irene introduced them to each other, "Kuroba-kun, meet Michiyuki Miyuki, my childhood friend."

Kuroba immediately spluttered, "EH?!" thankfully, he didn't scream loud enough to reach the house next door.

Kuroba calmed down and asked, "The same one who died in a plane crash?"

Irene nodded and smiled, "You see why it bothered me when I first saw her at the hotel now?"

He nodded before she turned to Miyuki and said, "You already know, but Miyuki-chan, this is Kuroba Kaito, also known as you-know-who. He's the first person I met when I came here since he picked me up after I got shrunk from an alley. He's also the first I told everything about me to."

Miyuki smiled and said, "It's nice to officially and really meet you, Kaito-kun."

Irene counted in her head, '3...2...1...'

"Can I get an autograph?" Miyuki took out a notebook and a pen as she asked the expected question, "I've always been a Kid fan since little so..."

Kuroba grinned and laughed, "Of course, it's an honor to know that Thorny's friend has more taste than her."

Irene rolled her eyes and retorted, "Shut up, you annoying duck."

Kuroba paused, and so did Irene but less noticeably, before he retorted, "What did you just call me?!"

Irene scoffed, "You heard me."

Kuroba signed the notebook, gave it back, and then playfully glared down at Irene as he said, "Thorny."

Irene glared back, "Duckie."

And for once, there was lightning between them, the same tension you would expect from siblings' arguments.

Miyuki sweatdropped before she calmed them down by picking up Irene, and said, "Geez, is that how you guys usually are? I wonder how you could even live with each other."

Their answer was just turning their heads away from each other, though, unbeknownst to Miyuki, they were both smiling.

Finally, they could have proper arguments like siblings now that Irene had colors.

Before either of them said anything more, Nakamori was heard calling them over for dinner.

Irene then remembered, "Ah, wait, how do we explain to the Nakamoris our relationship with each other?" as she looked up at Miyuki.

She thought about it before she asked, "Well, what is your relationship with Kaito-kun?"

They both answered, "Distant cousins."

Miyuki added, "And??"

Irene explained her fake backstory more, Miyuki was of course confused about why Irene would easily go with being an orphan but there wasn't time to question it.

"Hmm... I can be your babysitter from America then, it wouldn't be that suspicious." Miyuki suggested.

Irene and Kuroba looked at each other before nodding, that sounded like a good idea.

And so, they went to the Nakamori house, Irene smiling big for once which made Nakamori and Ginzo surprised but also relieved as Irene introduced Miyuki, as her old babysitter that she thought died, and explained that she saw her by coincidence.

The Nakamoris welcomed her before they all sat down to start eating.

Irene's genuine smile and enjoyment made everyone at the table relieved and happy, Miyuki being the exception, as Irene listened and talked about how her day went, talking about the incident with James.

And for once, it was a genuinely joyful meal.

AN: Done! Hope you guys liked it!

Aww, Irene, and Kaito finally had their first sibling argument. And she called him Duckie! Isn't that cute? :3

The way they thought up a story for Irene and Miyuki's relationship that would work with the age difference was really quick and smart!

And the Nakamori immediately noticed how Irene has colors now!

Though Miyuki doesn't know since she died before Sakura became colorless, she'll probably realize it soon.

Can't wait to see the Beika crew's reaction to Irene's change though. :D

So what did you guys think? Did you like it? Which part was your favorite? Hope to see your feedback soon!

That's all. See you next chapter!

Stay sweet my fellow anime lovers!~
