The party

AN: This is her outfit for the party, remember that her hair is in a ponytail with the usual braided side of her head. Plus she's wearing the locket and bracelet along with the Sakura brooch. Hope you enjoy it!

Narrator pov. 2 days later in the afternoon by the agency~

A minivan was parked outside where the detective boys were waiting for the others, Irene had just arrived a minute ago and everyone complimented her outfit.

Edogawa seemed... flustered for some reason as he looked away, Irene tilted her head at him but still thanked everyone for their compliments.

Right now, they were waiting for Suzuki as Kogoro, who was the driver, complained and asked Mouri when was the mentioned girl arriving, and Mouri only informed him that Suzuki just left her house.

Edogawa asked Haibara if Hara could've been involved with them and Haibara confirmed that it was possible, then he asked if Oki could've been as well, Haibara confirmed the possibility as well and when Edogawa said, "It's possible that person is-"

Irene shook her head and said, "No." as quietly as them which made Edogawa let out an "Eh?" and so she explained, "While one of the victims was involved, the other wasn't. And the killer isn't either. It was just a way to get an alibi."

Edogawa replied, "Ah, I see." and then Suzuki arrived.

When everyone saw Suzuki's hair, they were all surprised, Edogawa mostly at how similar Suzuki looked to Haibara because of the similar hair color and now style, which Irene could see as well but she wasn't surprised.

They noticed Edogawa staring and that conversation happened, Irene didn't feel anything since she knew Edogawa didn't like Haibara and she looked at Ayumi to see that she wasn't feeling jealous either and was even joining in on the teasing.

They then got in the car and left for the party.

Inside, there were a lot of people and a huge buffet which made Kogoro and Genta happy.

Agasa tried to pick his food but Haibara stopped him, saying that she'd find him some low-calorie food.

The real kids were admiring and talking about a certain car in the room, Mouri and Suzuki were looking out at Mt. Fuji as Suzuki teased Mouri again about her love for Kudo.

Edogawa was with Kazama looking out at Tower B while Irene noticed that they had some strawberry shortcakes and went to get some to eat.

She gave Edogawa two out of 4 since he didn't get himself any food, he smiled and thanked her with a slight blush, and then she got herself a 3rd one once she realized that 2 didn't feel enough.

She didn't notice that Edogawa saw her until she heard him chuckle and realized he had noticed.

That made her heartbeat speed up a bit again as her face felt warm but she still kept eating while ignoring him which helped her calm down again.

Mio then walked up the stage and started her speech after getting everyone's attention.

And up until then, that was how the party went.
