Katie didn't take much care to wonder about the captured Tailor. She knew her Dad had been sent to collect him from sell, to have him questioned on where the missing  Death Star had been hidden. Knew that Emperor Zarkon had appeared in an hologram call, wanting to hear the lies or truths spoken by the rebel himself. To witness in person that Sam Holt was doing as he ordered to gain the wanted answers from the rebel.  

Katie knew her brother had gave some helping hand to their Dad. Playing the whole good cop and bad cop with the tailor. It was a known fact that Sam didn't like the torture route but to protect his children, he'd follow all his orders given. It meant the prisoners always got to chose how far things went, they could give up and spill the beans or drag it all out until Sam gained orders to call forward the Interrogation droids. 

From what little Katie had heard, the Interrogation droid had yet to be used against Tailor. But it was a threat in the air that they'd be called upon soon enough.  The Emperor seemed to have someone personal in mind to teach the rebel a lesson and show how foolish his rebellion was against the empire. 

Katie didn't care to snoop over the Emperors plans. They were normally one of three things. One, threaten the family of the prisoner. Two, kill a close friend to said prisoner right before them and make it seem like the death was the prisoners doing. And lastly, three, to attack completely innocent people and make the blame known it was on the prisoner, as their actions effected more than themselves. 

It's happened enough that Katie was sick over it all. She raised in this life and it wasn't so surprising to her anymore. Her Dad tried to shield her. Always reminded her that the person who acts should be at fault and no one else. That everyone has to pay for their own actions in life and others shouldn't be pulled into such mess. 

The only reason she stopped strolling around the Death Star was when she noticed a planet in the distance. 

Naboo. 

The planet her Mum was born on and had once ruled. 

She's always wanted to go, her Dad promised to take her once she was older. And she was older now. Maybe he was finally going to take her to her mum's planet. To give that private tour over her mum's favourite places and a few old memories her dad had shared with her mum. 

It left her growing excited at the chance to finally be taken, to finally feel closer to the Mum she's only ever known by stories. To finally see the beautiful planet her Dad and brother would fondly talk over and all the great views promised to be held there. She'd finally get to learn what made her mum so protective and fond over her birth planet and the good her ruling had brought it before her death. 

She was finally going to visit Naboo.

Until Naboo was no longer there.

The Death Star had trembled for a second before a beam had suddenly shot out from it, hitting Naboo directly. And now the planet was a pile of rocks and ashes floating in space before them. 

Her Mum's planet was destroyed before her very eyes. 

And something finally broke within her.
