It's been three years since Shiro swooped Matthew of his feet and took him back to Comet kingdom, back to the lions city. All had cheered for the leader gaining himself a partner. Everyone was welcoming and soon helped both Matthew and Katie learn over life within the Guns of Gamara and make them feel like they were fitting in, and they did. 

Matthew living his own life and keeping his happiness. Doing his part to help Lion's city bloom, acting as a second leader and doing his new duties just as he good as he use to do his old ones. Jointing Shiro on his travel to visit other small towns that were under the Guns of Gamara protection and happy to hear out their troubles while checking in on them. 

Katie grew to help with outside work to the city. Going with Hunk and Lance when they head out to sell or trade their merchandise at the agreed locations or meet up spot. As well as joining Keith when he heads out, following Shiro's orders. Keith didn't mind riding double with her on the horse and letting her see more of the kingdom as he'd sometimes travel the furthest from the city sometimes. 

Both their lives had grown to be much better and they were enjoying life a lot more than before. 

Katie's only complaint is that she wished she was a lot braver when it came t o riding a horse. She wasn't capable over riding a horse on her own. It left her having to ride double with someone or hop into the carts or wagons heading out when she wasn't able to ride with anyone else she trusted. 

She found it rather embarrassing that she couldn't seem to ride a horse. She tried. A few times. But she just got too anxious on them when she was meant to be in charge of them and she sucked at riding. 

Apart from her fail at horsing riding, Katie found herself enjoying life. 

Today Keith and Katie was travelling back from their latest order to check the far borderline of the Guns of Gamara turf. Both be sent to check for any sightings over any bandits trying to take over some of their land where they thought it was left unguarded. Both were disappointed that they didn't find anything strange or any signs over trouble heading their way near the borderline. 

Katie didn't mind the long travel out with Keith but both had been hoping to find something while out. Shiro had only sent them out to check the borderlines due to rumours over more bandits sighting within their turf in that area. They should have found an left behind camp or some tracks that hinted that the rumours had started somewhere close to that location. Rumours of trouble within Guns of Gamara turf didn't travel so far inwards unless they held a hint of truth to them and a handful or witness were there. 

But Katie and Keith had looked long and hard for a few two weeks in that area and came across nothing. Nothing meant good news in one way but also meant that rumours were spreading around all their land with no actual evidence to prove them true now. It was hard to make all under the protection of Guns of Gamara feel safe when nothing could be done to bring an end to the rumours by facing the problem. Without a problem, they couldn't solve it.
