To a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
"DOCTOR!" You called out from your patio, which was covered with Christmas lights, the first snow was freshly falling and a familiar sound filled the silent air, and the blue box appeared.
A smile came to your face as the door opened, revealing the face of your doctor, and his bowtie.
"What is wrong my dear?"
"Doctor, why must something be wrong, can I not just call for my best friend to come over and accompany me for some festivities?"
"Well if nothing is wrong..."
"I need your help, at once." You smiled even bigger and turned to head into your house.
"Why? Are we finally going to Dalek proof the house?" He followed you and stood next to you, looking at the lid of the box you had placed on the counter.
"No darling, we are going to do something even better." And then you through open the box, revealing millions of tiny bulbs
"Dear Why do you have a box of junk? and what are we to do with it?" He looked at you with confusion and a tad bit of fear.
"This isn't Junk Doctor, this is only the first box of the winter wonderland you are going to help me create." your smile was ear to ear as you looked up at him.
"Oh, well then let us begin. Whats first?"
"well first is the lights, then the decorations, then the tree, and then repeat, but on the tree. You can do the lights, I'll do the decorating, in like two hours we get a tree?"
"Well where do I..."
"Put them around the border of the room, you have to untangle them though probably."
"Yes Ma'am." He gave you his dorky smile as he dived his hands in box as you go to search for the other boxes.
~Time Hop~
"Well Doctor, I think we did a pretty amazing job." You said looking around at your winter wonderland." You smiled as he wrapped his arms around your shoulders as you leaned against him.
"I think this is the most fun I have had in a while."
"And you even got to chop the tree down, and I must say you did a fine job."
"Thank You." he whispered into your ear
"Anytime Doctor."
