"The two are at it again," Lucy sighed as she trudged her way towards Susan and Edmund.
What Lucy meant was that (Y/n) and Peter were arguing about what had happened back at the castle.
Susan and Edmund glanced at each other and you could easily see a glimpse of worry in both of their faces. What had happened back at the castle was horrifying. Edmund was the one who had seen the body of Narnians lined up and piled on top of one another at the gate. It was absolutely horrific was how he explained it. If (Y/n) and Peter were arguing about that... Well, they couldn't imagine how terrible Peter must have felt along with Caspian.
"Why are you so fucking stubborn?!" (Y/n) shouted at him with her arms raised. "The last time you were stubborn you almost got all of them killed! Why don't you just realize that you need some other people's opinion?!"
Peter marched up to her and yelled back, "Because I'm the High King! I make the final decision!"
"Oh? So you're willing to put the rest of Narnia at risk until we're down to the last damn man standing?! Do you realize how fucking flawed your strategy is? And why won't you let me fight?!" (Y/n) was so close to slapping him but she couldn't.

Caspian stood on the other side of the stone table from the argument

Caspian stood on the other side of the stone table from the argument. He would have spoken up but the last time that happened they looked at him and at the same time shouted, 'Shut up' with (Y/n) adding a 'Damn it' afterwards. It was terrifying to say the least.
Peter glared at her but didn't say anything. Caspian could feel the tension in the air. It's not just the tension from them arguing, it's a bit of sexual tension.
(Y/n) didn't say anymore or slap him after this. She knew how badly he felt about all of this. And things weren't always like this either. They both had gotten along before they encountered Narnia. With a few arguments here and there. During their first visit they actually only had one argument, whether or not she could stay to fight or not. After they went back to Professor Kirke's house, they had become really close. Afterwards, however, everything went downhill. For some reason, they just kept arguing.
"... What is it that you had in mind?" Peter asked (Y/n).
"Finally coming to your senses?" (Y/n) raised an eyebrow. Then she walked over towards the Stone Table that had a map of the surrounding area. She started to explain everything to both Caspian and Peter.
"How about instead of placing them in there how about here?" Caspian asked her, pointing to parts of the map to improve the strategy.
"Oh. That's actually much better, that's a great idea!" (Y/n) smiled at him. Peter felt a bit of jealousy in his heart but shoved it to the side. "Hey, at least I can be flexible when it comes to plans." She glared at Peter and he rolled his eyes.

The Second Battle of Beruna. Or also known as the Battle of Beruna of the Narnian Revolution.
Peter just finished his duel with King Miraz but they had a trick up their sleeve which still ended up with a war. With (Y/n)'s strategic plan they discovered a way to fight the Telmarines and have an advantage against them.
On the battlefield, (Y/n) fought alongside Peter. Both of them saving each other's hides here and there. They both didn't want to admit but they had fallen in love with each other during their time in the Golden Age and it only lasted once again in the real world and back to here. From that, they wanted to protect each other as much as they could.
"(Y/n) watch out!" Peter charged at the Telmarine who went to attack her. (Y/n) moved out of the way and Peter clashed swords with him. Quickly shoving back on him, Peter was able to take him out. Unfortunately a Telmarine came from behind and he reacted too slow when (Y/n) called out his name. He got a nasty gash on his right arm but he went through the pain and stabbed the other Telmarine. Fortunately (or unfortunately, either way) for him, (Y/n) didn't notice. By this time the Telmarines all got a call for a retreat.
When the Telmarines retreated back to the river only to encounter Lucy and Aslan along with the Water God that 'ate' them all up, Narnia had won.
No one noticed that Peter was hurt when they all headed back to Aslan's How. (Y/n) was walking alongside Peter on their way back and the others were nowhere near them.
"Hey, good effort out there Pete!" (Y/n) smiled at him and slightly punched him.
"Ow! (Y/n)!" Peter flinched.
"Oh shit! Are you okay?" (Y/n) asked worriedly. They both stopped walking and she tried to examine his arm. Peter moved his arm away from her.
"I'm fine, (Y/n)," He replied. (Y/n) raised her eyebrow.
"When are you gonna stop being stubborn, Peter?" She crossed her arms and stared up at him. "Now let me see your arm." Peter sighed and went to sit against a tree and (Y/n) kneeled besides him. She ripped parts of her clothes to wrap around his arm to make sure he wouldn't bleed out. "We'll ask Lucy to give her a drop of her potion from her cordial."
Peter looked up at her as she continued to wrap parts of her clothes around his arm. She looked beautiful. Even after a battle, her beauty was just... Indescribable. Her (h/c) flowed behind her as if she was like an angel. Her shining (h/c) eyes that always held her true emotions even when she tried to hide it. Then her pink lips... How badly he wanted to just put his hand behind her neck and pull her down for a kiss.
"I'm sorry." Peter blurted out.
"Huh?" (Y/n) stopped what she was doing and looked at him confused.
"I'm sorry, for being stubborn. I just..." He trailed off.
"You just...?"
"I honestly just wanted you to be safe. That's why those strategies were so flawed. I wanted to protect you," he explained looking down at the ground. (Y/n) tied the cloth around his arm tightly then moved her hand under his chin to look back up at her.
"I don't need protection, Peter." (Y/n) smiled softly at him.
"I - I know. I - um..." Peter went silent for a moment. "I love you." He stared straight into her (e/c) eyes and tried to search for a reaction. (Y/n) didn't react. She just continued to stare at him. "(Y/n)-"
(Y/n) interrupted him with a kiss.
When they parted she wrapped her arms around his neck and Peter hugged her back.
"I love you, too."
