(THIRD PERSON POV)
Her lips formed a contented smile as she stood in front of a quaint but decent shop somewhere in the streets of London. (Y/N) (Y/L/N) is an average young lady in her late teens, petite,strong-willed and good natured. She has been saving up since a few years ago to pursue her dreams as a successful entrepreneur. And, now here she is, the new owner of a cafe. Part of the cafe has been designated into a small library area, hoping that it will attract customers who seek solitude, peace and relaxation.
The first day of her business is a little hectic. Although the items and furniture have been arranged in order, (Y/n) still needs to prepare the menus. It is a last minute preparation and she already regretted for not planning the menus earlier. The bell door chimes as the first customer arrives.
"Good morning!" greets (y/n) with a warm smile. A woman in her 50′s looks around the cafe and gives her a compliment. "Such a nice calming environment. I'm sure your business will thrive, my dear." (Y/n) beams. "Thank you!"
Customers after customers and each of them gives their compliments and wishes to (Y/n). She has never been so overwhelmed with joy. "So far, so good..." she speaks to herself. As dusk nearly approaches, (y/n) begins to clear her stuffs and mops the floor of the cafe, when suddenly the bell chimes softly. (Y/n) peeks from the counter to see a young man with pale skin and white blond hair enters the cafe. "He sits right at the corner and read through the menu. "Umm...can I have a cup of chamomile tea?"
(Y/n) nods and write it down. "Anything else?" The man frowns and points at a particular menu. "What's this?" "Oh, that's strawberry pudding." He looks up at her with a confused look. "Umm...okay then."
"You know, you're the first one to order this desert." "Oh, really?"
"Yeah."
(TIME SKIPS)
"Enjoy your dessert!" (Y/n) serves the dessert and smile. "Thank you", he says softly. (Y/n) watches him eating the pudding. He notices that he's being watched. He puts down his dessert spoon and turn to look at her. (Y/n) averts her gaze and quickly walks back to the counter awkwardly. "I understand that your cafe is closed at this hour, right?"
"Oh, yeah... but since you're the last customer, I ought to serve you even though it's past my working hours." The man smiles and continues to indulge in his dessert. "Umm....how's the pudding?" (y/n) asks.
"It is sweet and...nice." (Y/n) heaves a sigh of relief. "Thank god...." she murmurs. "I've never eaten a strawberry pudding before."
"What? You're pulling my leg, aren't you?" (Y/n)'s smile faltered as she saw the serious expression on his face. "So, you're not around living around here?" "No." "A foreigner? But you seem like a local folk." "Well, let's just assume that I am a foreigner, okay?" The man smirks at her. (Y/n) feels her cheeks begin to warm up. "I....umm sure."
"Hey, thanks."
"For what?" (y/n) asks.
"For the dessert, of course." He chuckles.
" I should thank you, because of you, I could finally have the confidence to make the pudding."
"Oh,yeah? but thanks anyways, for, umm introducing me to-" The man stutters to find the perfect word.
(Y/n) raises her eyebrow. "You mean...muggle food?" He freeze and look at her in disbelief. "How...do you-"
(Y/n) sighs. "My cousin studies these kind of magic stuffs at Hogwarts. We're pretty close, so I have my own ways to point out a person who is you know...living from the 'other place' besides...here."
The man gulps and manages to smile at her. "Oh, I see...well..."
"Hey, don't be nervous. Well, since you're quite new here, I could perhaps, show you around the town? I live just down the lane by the way, so..."
The man's eyes brighten up. "Sure. That sounds great!"
"Cool! Uh, let me give you my number..." (Y/n) starts to walk behind the counter but he grabs her wrists.
"I...don't think I-" The man glances at the phone beside the counter and she instantly understands what he meant. "Oh...okay...so..."
"It's alright. I think I am able to adapt to new surroundings." He gives her a reassuring smile, however (y/n) notices a hint of disappointment. He slowly walks to the door.
"Oh, wait! We've talked for quite awhile now, but I haven't even know your name yet? asks (y/n).
"Draco. My name is Draco Malfoy. And, yours?"
"(Y/n). My name is (Y/n) (Y/l/n)." "Your name is beautiful....just like you." Draco stares at her longingly.
(Y/n) blushes and covers her face partially with her (H/C) curls. "Umm..thanks."
"Hey, (y/n)?"
"Yeah, Draco?"
"Will you be here tomorrow?"
(Y/n) laughs. "Well, of course! Always..."
"I'll see you again, (y/n). Good night." (Y/n) watches him walking down the streets from the window until he is out of her sight.
"Good night....Draco." she whispers his name softly. Draco...The name that will etch in her mind forever. She looks forward to meeting him soon. Something about his personality intrigues her....
(Draco POV)
I couldn't sleep tonight. I keep thinking of that girl from that cafe. What's her name again? Yes, her name is (y/n). Since I came to London, I have never felt so anxious before until I met her today. Most people are very cold towards me since I moved here. I think it has to do with my dark side and most probably the evil aura that is still attached to me. When I first met her, I've seen a pretty halo around her head. It seems like I am going insane or I am just hallucinating, but damn...I am sure she's an angel in disguise..
The way she smiles and looks at me....it feels like I've found another half of me...the good side of me and I really need it badly. I really...need her in my life.
But, will a girl like her, accept me or love me even with my dark past?
I just realised that I am falling for a muggle which is...not a bad thing at all.
