"Sam?" You whispered shyly from around the corner.
"Yeah (Y/N)?" Sam asked, not looking up from his computer screen.
"Can we talk." you said hesitating before entering the room. "It's about our last hunt."
Sam looked up at you, concern growing in his eyes. "What's wrong (Y/N)? Are you okay? Did something happen?"
You fell into the chair next to his and stared intently at nothing on the floor, "It's Jess- he-" you stopped yourself. You couldn't control it, the tears in the back of your throat were cutting off your air, and you couldn't breath.
"Did he hurt you?" Sam asked pushing the chair back and leaning in towards you. "(Y/N) tell me you're alright. Tell me he didn't lay a finger on you." He grabbed your chin gently in his hands and turned your face side to side checking for any signs of abuse. Then he turned over your wrists and let out a gasp under his breath. "Tell me this is the only thing he did to you, before I jump into the Impala and drive straight to his house and kick his ass."
"Sam-I'm, I'm fine." you insisted as he lay a hand on your cheek staring into your eyes.
"Promise me?" he whispered.
"I promise. He didn't hurt me, he just..." you shuddered, it hurt just thinking about it.————————————
"(Y/N) Dean and I are going to go in and question Mr. Barsley, you and Jess check out the warehouse. I'll meet you back at the car, come in and get me if you find anything." Sam smiled, closing the car door behind you.
"No problem," you smiled back at him. The tension between the two of you was growing and it was becoming surprisingly obvious apparently because Dean shot you his signature smirk before winking and following Sam into the little farm house a long ways away from where you were headed.
"What's that all about?" Jess asked, slightly raising his head at you.
"Nothing-it's nothing..."
"Didn't look like nothing," he smiled.
"I'm sorry, what I meant to say was, it's nothing of your concern." It had only been a short drive from Jess' house and back to the farm you were investigating, but he was proving to be a cocky, self-involved, boy who thought everyone he came across fancied him.
"Wow, stuck up are we?" he asked right as the two of you walked into the warehouse, stuffed full with bags of feed and odd looking tools.
You turned to face him and had your hand clenched and raised, but he grabbed your wrist tightly and pushed you up against the door he had just closed. You were seeing stars, and felt faint but you could hear clearly as he said,"If nothing's going on with you and Daddy Long Legs over there, then I know you won't mind being my play toy for the evening."
He pulled your wrists back behind your head and nipped at your neck. "Don't worry, I'm a good liar, I can tell the boys we picked up on a trail and they needn't follow us back to my house where we can spend the whole night together."
You looked in his eyes and said firmly,"Go back to hell."———————–
"(Y/N) what is it? What's happening?" Sam asked taking your arm and helping you up from the floor.
"I guess I just blacked out for a minute, I'm sorry..."
"It's okay, here come lay down." he offered leading you into the closest bedroom, which happened to be his.
You laid your head on the pillow and turned away from him,"If it's all the same to you, I don't want to finish this conversation anymore."
Sam sat on the edge of the bed and set his hand on your ankle squeezing lightly,"Hey, it's alright. I'm here if you need anything okay?"
Dean stood in the doorway and stared at the both of you,"(Y/N) you need to tell him, or I will."
"Dean knows?" Sam sounded a bit shocked, and hurt that you didn't tell him.
"Dean please-" you begged sitting up.
"I will." he "threatened" sitting on the other side of you.———————–
"(Y/N) open up it's me!" it was Dean. He was banging on the door to the warehouse. "Are you two okay in there?"
"We're fine," Jess called back before you could say anything. "The door's stuck, you're just going to have to go back and get the tools or something!"
Then he nodded at you to say something, convincing him to leave.
"Yeah Dean, we're fine. Red Bank is turning out to be one funky town though." you added quickly hoping he hadn't left yet, and praying Jess didn't get that that was a code word.
He stared into your eyes threateningly. He waited until he heard Dean's footsteps leave the door before he pushed you down onto the cement floor. You smacked the back of your head, and felt the warm sticky blood begin to ooze.
"You see (Y/N), this is my last mission before I'm too past the gone. People like you, and your "family" are the reason I'm going to die. They're going to put me down (Y/N). Like a dog."
He towered over you, barring his teeth that were now points. Hair was sprouting out of his skin on his face and arms, and his nails were now claws that were moving towards your neck. He picked you up and you grabbed ahold of his hands tearing at them, hoping he'd let you go.
"You killed the farmer's wife." you whispered through gritted teeth.
"You're lucky you're pretty because you sure as hell aren't fast."
"They're going to come back and get me. You're not going to get away with this."
"Oh but I am, because you see, they never suspected me. An old pal of Bobby's had a son and grew into a fine hunter. And as I said earlier, I'm a pretty convincing liar. All I need is a few scratches and a story and they'll believe that the werewolf their searching for got to you and I fought him off. Trying desperately to save you, but, I couldn't...I was too late."
"You're a monster..." you choked. " and I kill monsters."
"Oh but wouldn't it be so much sweeter if you became a monster? Too bad you already know about me or this would've been more fun-" there was loud bang and you suddenly fell to the floor gasping for air.
Jess laid beside you, his bright blue eyes staring at yours, but they were no longer his, they were no longer alive.
Dean picked you up and held you tightly to his chest, setting the gun down beside him, he wrapped both arms around you.
"Are you okay?"————————–
"Are you okay?" Dean asked sportively as you finished telling Sam what happened.
"I'll live." you nodded looking up at him. He rested a hand on your knee and raised an eyebrow at you, "You sure kiddo?"
"Dean I'm only two years younger than Sam. Besides I know how to take care of myself."
"I know." he smiled standing up. "I'm just worried about you thinking you have no one to run to when you've decided that there are things bigger than all of us that you can't turn away from."
"I've got the both of you, don't I?"
Sam placed his arm around your shoulder and pulled you in for a side hug. "You've always got us to look out for you."
Dean nodded and kissed the top of your head before leaving the room.
You waited until he was out of earshot before turning to Sam, "Can I sleep with you tonight?" you whispered.
Sam gave you a small grin and wrapped both arms around you pulling your body to his before the both of you fell back onto the bed.Nothing happened that night. Nothing but the two of you breathing in time, and the sense of security and warmth surrounding you.
