(Y/N)'s eyes fluttered open and she squinted at the bright light pouring in through her window. Her legs were intertwined with her fiance Barry's and the thick comforter covered them both. Barry's low chuckle snapped her out of her daze.
"It's about time you woke up." He said jokingly, smiling at his future wife. His voice was still raspy from just having woken up and (Y/N) smiled back tiredly.
"Were you up for long? You should've woken me—"
"Not really, no. 'Was just watching you sleep." He admitted. "You look very pretty when you sleep."
(Y/N) blushed, and suddenly, the realization crossed her mind that it was Christmas morning. "It's Christmas," She grinned, her eyes crinkling as her lips widened.
"I know," Barry laughed. "Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas," She replied lovingly, and swung her legs out of bed, shoving the fluffy comforter off in the process. But, still in a sleepy daze, started to tumble and tripped over the leg of the bed. She was about to fall over when Barry super-sped over to her side of the bed and caught her, her head hitting his chest. She laughed, embarrassed. "Sorry about that.."
Barry chuckled. "Don't apologize. I'll always be there to catch you when you fall."
"How cheesy." You joked, and Barry pouted. "I'm only kidding. I love you."
Barry grinned happily. "I love you, too. That's the whole reason why we're getting married, right?"
"Right," (Y/N) responded, making her way to the kitchen, Barry following behind.
"Man, I cannot wait any longer. I'd marry you right now if I could." He said, pulling her hand around so she was facing him, their faces only inches apart.
"And miss Joe's Christmas party? No way. Iris'd have a fit," (Y/N) laughed, memories of her best friend and Maid of Honor Iris flashing through her mind. "But I can't wait either."
Barry took a deep breath and pressed a kiss to (Y/N)'s forehead. "I love you. Merry Christmas."
(Y/N) grinned, her heart skipping a beat. "Merry Christmas, Barry. I love you, too."
