The Dark Hour

"God damn it Mom!" I snapped at her. I fell to the floor with pain going through my cheek.

"You do not speak to your mother in that tone or raise your voice!" I looked up at my father. "You are the heir to the throne you need to take your responsibility seriously."

"Maybe I don't want to be the next heir." I yelled at him. He growled and went to raise his hand and he went to bring it down when Vincent caught his wrist.

"Stand down Vincent." My dad said sternly.

"Sorry but I can't I don't take orders from you. I take them from Astrid sir." He let go and pulled me off the floor and he dragged me to my room. I sat on the bed while a maid brought in a rag with some ice in it. I placed it on my cheek. "You need to be more careful Princess Astrid you know how your father gets when he is angry."

"Yes I know Vincent, sorry that you have to save me again."

"That's my job Astrid don't worry about it get some rest you have a busy day tomorrow, I will be right outside if you need anything." I nodded as he left. I waited for like an hour or two till I brought the box out from under my bed. I got out the things that I need and I said the spell and my world and my stomach flipped upside down. I turned and puked everywhere. I didn't think that was suppose to happen.

I stood up and looked around, I wasn't in the world that I grew up in at all. I pulled up my dress and walked around. I have no clue on where I was at or where I was even going. I groaned when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I quickly turned around and backed up some.

"Oh hey I'm not going to hurt you or anything just calm down."

"Where am I?"

"You're in Seattle are you okay?"

"Yeah I uh don't know where I'm going."

"Okay um I really don't want you to sleep in an alley but I have an extra room at my place. I'm Axel."

"I'm Astrid um thanks by the way."

"No problem um do you have anything else to wear but that. Cause you look like you just came out of a fairy tail." I laughed and we started to walk.

"Um no I just have this." He nodded. We walked in silence for a while till we got to a house and we walked in. I got a better look at him and he had silver hair with blue eyes.

"The bathroom is down the hall to the right. I'm going to call a friend that might have some clothes that might fit you." I nodded and went to the bathroom and got cleaned up. This is a strange world.

I was walking around when there was a knock on the door.

"That might be her and the others." He said getting up and walking over to the door. "Did you bring the clothes?" He asked to someone outside.

"Yeah, but why did you need them exactly?" A girl with blue tipped hair asked.

"Um well you guys come on in I ordered cheese pizza hope that's fine with you guys." He said moving out of the way while a girl and two guys walked in. "Okay I should-" He was cut off by the girl.

"Who's that?"

"I met her in the alley way tonight and she looked lost so I was going to give her a place to stay for a while that's why I needed the clothes." She nodded.

"Ok, well I still have no idea who she is."

"I'm Astrid." I said with a smile. "And you are?"

"I'm Skyla. So where are you from?"

"Um I-I'm from Hell."

"Ok, which state is that?" She smiled.

"Michigan." Axel quickly said.

"Nice, so what brings you to Seattle?"

"Uh I-I don't know."

"You just came here randomly?" She asked confused. I just nodded.

"Y-Yeah."

"Ok, are you here just by yourself?" I nodded and looked at the ground.

"Hey, it's ok. Most of us are kinda on our own too." I nodded.

"Okay how about you go get a shower and Skyla, Ridge and Lalna and I will talk. Skyla the clothes."

"Here," She said handing over a plastic bag. "Hope it fits." I nodded and walked to the bathroom and got in the shower.
