The Dark Hour

I sat the rose on top of the grave, I smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear.

"You would be so proud of me right now." I sighed. "You will always be my first love no matter what I do. I will always love you." I smiled and went back into the castle.

"Princess are you sure you should be up walking around."

"I'm fine, I need to go to town anyways Vincent." He sighed.

"There's no stopping you is there?" I smiled and shook my head.

"Nope." I said getting my sword. "How's Axel going on with his practice."

"He sucks, even with a knife, I tried to get him to a wooden sword and he still sucks!" I smiled.

"He will get better don't worry I was the same way, don't you remember?"

"Yes I do."

"Baby steps, I have to go to town, Cas and some people are coming to help rebuild some shops and houses." He nodded.

"Be careful."

"Put that over there, we can reuse that. If there is something we can save and reuse then reuse it!" I yelled so everyone could hear me. I looked around and saw Castiel. I met him halfway and smiled.

"Hey you guys made it! Thanks you for helping me with this, we could really use the help." He nodded.

"N-No problem," He stuttered.

"Is everything okay? I know this isn't your type of setting but we won't bite I promise."

"I-I'm fine, I j-just don't have g-good memories here." I nodded.

"It's understandable, uh just go somewhere and just start helping I-"

"Astrid!" Someone yelled.

"Ryan?" I asked as soon as I turned I fell to the ground. Ouch that kinda hurt. I looked around and saw Skyla and Ty. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked a bit confused.

"Ty heard that something was wrong with the mission Seto went on. A kid came back and he died and someone else went missing. Seto is also hurt but he's with the rest of his team and all of them have been captured," Skyla explained quickly.

"Really?" Ryan finally let me go and we got up off the ground. "Well I haven't had any gang activity as far as I know."

"Are you sure?" Ty asked nervously. I sighed.

"I'm not sure, but last time I knew there wa-"

"Princess! There- there's some trouble at the square!" A guard yelled running over to us.

"What type of trouble!?" I asked quickly.

"I'm not sure."

I quickly ran off with Ryan, Skyla and Ty right behind me. After a few minutes we were at the block and I pulled out my sword.

"Stop right there!" I yelled. They stopped and turned around, is it the gang that Skyla and Ty were talking about?

"Kill them." The guy with black hair said with a evil grin. Their eyes glowed red. Vampires? The guy attacked me but I blocked his attack.

"Stop!" Someone yelled, the guy that attacked me backed off and I looked around and I didn't see anyone. Till someone dropped from the trees. She had long black hair, she kinda look like me. No. "This isn't time for fighting get back to the hideout."

"Wait stop!" I said putting my sword up. I went to go take a step but she put up a border line. I hit on it a few time. "No! Who are you!?" She looked back and smiled.

"We will meet again." Then she disappeared, what the hell?

"Astrid!" Skyla shouted. "Are you ok?" I nodded.

"Yeah uh I think so."

"Who was that?" Ryan asked.

"I don't know."

"She looked like you. You don't think?"

"No! I-It can't be my dad said that she was dead and I stopped looking for her for a while then I gave up. I don't care about that anymore."

"I'm confused," Skyla sighed.

"What? Oh sorry, its ju-"

"Long ago Astrid was brought to the castle as a baby, her mom was a peasant and I believe that was her mom cause they looked the same."

"Yes but I gave up cause when I feel like I'm getting close everything changes and my father didn't like it, so I just stopped."

"Oh, I understand now," Skyla said nodding.

"Yeah, so I guess you guys were right. I just never had it here before this is a new problem for me."

"So what are we going to do?" Ty asked anxiously.

"I'm not sure but who was running the operation with the whole gang with the angels."

"Um I'm not sure, I think Michael and Gabriel came up with the mission," Ty said softly.

"Okay I'm going to call them see what they want to do next."

"But-"

"Ok, we'll wait here," Skyla said quickly covering Ty's mouth. I nodded.

"If you guys want to you can wait at the castle."

"Ok, come on Ty." Skyla basically dragged him away by his wrist to the castle. I sighed I know he's worried but we can't just rush in there it could get one of them killed.

"I was told what was going on and what happened. What's your next move?"

"Gabriel was thinking that we sent in another team but I don't want to lose more people and I think that's what they are expecting anyways," Michael sighed. "Hannah's freaking out and I haven't even told Cas, but I'm sure he knows about it already. The only thing I can think of doing is going there myself but that's risky."

"Yeah no matter what we do it's going to be risky, but if I can get one of my men inside and act like they are in the gang they can give me some insight about what's going on."

"Maybe, I'm just worried. Before Bryan died he said someone was hurt and I'm about halfway sure it was Seto. If he is hurt I'm not sure he has much time or if he's ok or if it's too late. I have no idea what they are doing to them and the only reason I'm not freaking out like Hannah is because if I do I won't be any help to anyone."

"Okay I'll get one of my men ready, and send them in they will blend in perfectly fine and I'm sure that they has some ties in with some people with the gang so I'm going to talk to him."

"Ok, just be careful. I got to help Gabriel try to calm Hannah down. She sent her son on this and she's not handling this well." I nodded and crushed the calling orb. I walked down and back outside.

"Hey Uncle!" I yelled.

"What?" He said suddenly appearing in front of me and I jumped some.

"I need your help." He nodded. "Do you think you can sneak into the demon gang?"

"Yeah I still have ties in there. Why do you need me to sneak in there?"

"Cause some angels got captured and I need someone on the inside."

"Well I'm your guy."

"Thanks."

"Okay well I'll get going." I nodded and he walked away, I hope he can give me insight on what's going on in there.
