Gavin pulled me back to his room but he didn't make me go into the little room. Instead he picked me up and gently dropped me on his bed. I stand up and he just gently made me lay back down.
"No kid, you look like you haven't been sleeping. Like at all. Just rest for a bit ok?"
"I-I can't," I said softly. He sighed.
"Look, if you're worried about those guys coming back to get you they won't. I won't let them. And they won't kill your friend, they need her too much to kill her."
"That's not why," I sighed. "I've been having the same nightmare every time I try to sleep and it's horrible."
"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked softly. I shook my head. "Ok, well I'll stay here with you. Just incase you have this nightmare." I slowly nodded then sighed.
"Ok." He smiled a bit then ruffled my hair.
"Just rest kid. It'll be ok." I sighed then closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep.

"Ridge!" I screamed. The building was falling down but I didn't care. I needed to find Ridge.
"Lalna!" Skyla yelled. "We have to go!"
"No! We have to find Ridge!"
"We'll die if we stay here! We have to go."
"No! Ridge where are you!?" I screamed desperately. Skyla grabbed my arm and I tried to pull away from her.
"We have to go, please don't make me lose you too," She said with tears in her eyes.
"Ridge!" I cried out.
"Come on." She pulled me out of the building just as it slowly collapsed. I screamed and started crying, then I heard someone talking.
"Kid! Kid wake up!" I bolted upright and someone held on to me. I was sweating and I quickly wiped my eyes as they started tearing up.
"Hey, it's ok kid. It's just a dream," Gavin said softly.
"I-It doesn't feel like a dream," I mumbled. He was about to say something when someone knocked on the door. Gavin quickly got up and answered the door. A few people pushed past him and I shrunk down on the bed.
"Where's the kid?"
"Why? What do you need him for?" Gavin asked lowly.
"Just a few questions for him, I won't hurt him if that's what you're scared of. The Princess won't be talking for awhile." Gavin sighed.
"He's on the bed, and he's staying in this room."
"Okay, I don't care about that." He said then sighed. "Kid sit up." I slowly sat up and looked at the guy nervously. "How do you get into the angel base, you would have to know since you're Michael's kid."
"Um my dad gave us these beads that we step on and it takes us up there," I said softly. "I don't have any. And sometimes they open up portals and we go through those." He nodded, and left. Gavin shut the door and sighed.
"I really hate him sometimes," He mumbled. He looked at me then smiled a bit. "So, you're part angel right?" I nodded.
"Yeah."
"Do you have wings?" I slowly nodded. "Would it be ok if I saw them? I won't even touch them, I just want to see them." I thought about it then sighed.
"Ok, um just stand back." I got up out of the bed and he stood near the wall. I pulled my shirt off and my wings slowly came out. He looked at them with wide eyes.
"Wow, they're better than I imagined angels wings to be." I carefully tucked them behind me and he looked at me.
"Are they heavy?" I shook my head.
"No not really."
"Are they soft? And can they be used as a blanket?"
"Um yes," I said a bit confused.
"That amazing." I put my shirt back on and my wings disappeared. "Thank you for showing me them. I-I used to have wings until I got into a fight with the wrong person. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable I just wanted to see if the rumors about angel wings were true." I nodded.
"I understand, I get curious too." He smiled.
"You're pretty smart kid."
"I was top of my class, til I got moved up a grade level."
"That's awesome." I blushed a bit then yawned. "Oh you're still tired. You should get some sleep."
"I'm fine." He gently ushered me over to the bed and I laid down.
"Sleep, I promise nothing will happen." I nodded then closed my eyes. I quickly fell asleep.
