"What's wrong Allison?" I asked worriedly.
"I can't stay here. I don't have the time to stay here and take care of Lalna and balance my work. I want to but I can't."
"So you're going back to earth?"
"I have to. I have bills to pay off and a job. I can't just drop everything and leave. When school starts back up Lalna will have to go back and we'll be stuck in a huge amount of debt and I will lose my job if I don't go back." I nodded.
"Okay I understand, I will keep trying to look for the cure, I bet Sky would like to go home too."
"Maybe, you'll have to ask her. I'm going to tell Michael and I'm having Lalna stay here. I want him to be able to see his father more since he hasn't seen him in forever. Kinda bond a bit you know?"
"Yeah I kinda know, but not very wel-" I was cut off with my phone ringing. I looked at the caller and it was Hannah. "Hey why are you calling? I told you to call when you found something."
"I did. There was a page torn out of one of the books."
"What?! Okay I'll be right there!" I said quickly hanging up. "Sorry Allison but I gotta go." She nodded.
"Ok, I might not be back by the time you come back."
"Okay, it was a pleasure working with you." She nodded.
"Yeah, just take care of my son. I'm too old to have another child." I nodded.
"I will." I quickly left and ran to the lab, I got there and went over to Hannah.
"Did Astrid tell you who she got the books from?"
"I assumed Michael cause he keeps all the old records in his office," She said quickly. "Look this page is missing."
"This could have the cure on it. Who would want to keep it a secret?" I pondered my thoughts but nothing came up. I grabbed the book and went to Michael's office. I opened the door and Allison and Michael were talking. They both stopped and looked at me.
"Sorry to interupt but what's the meaning up this!" I kinda snapped and slammed the book down on Michael's desk and showed him the last page.
"I don't know," He said confused. "Why is there a page missing?"
"How am I supposed to know! Who would want to keep the cure a secret?"
"I don't know. This sickness, if it spread, could wipe out all of the angels if we're not careful."
"I know this but we can't do anything without the last piece of paper."
"Well I'm not sure where it's at or who has it. No one has touched these books since they were given to me."
"Who gave them to you?"
"A couple of doctors a few years ago. They worked in Hannah's faction before they just disappeared."
"Would Hannah know about the people?"
"Maybe but she's really scatter brained, I'm not sure she remembers them." I sighed.
"I'll try to talk to her."
~~~
"Hannah come on think who where these guys that you worked with."
"I don't remember. I teach four classes a day with twenty students in each and it's a miracle that I remember their names. I don't remember working with these people. I work with a lot of people and they all wear name tags."
"Great, now we are never going to find this paper." Hannah sighed then perked up.
"I remember them working with one of my students! Um Jason I think. He might remember them!"
"Well get him in here!" She ran out of the room and left the door open behind her. I sighed and looked at the book. Who would want to keep the cure a secret? I rubbed my head and sighed. Come on Hannah pull through please.
