The Dark Hour

"Where is Cas!" My uncle yelled.

"Uncle please calm down, he's at the medical bay at the angel base. I know you're worried about him but getting angry isn't helping any," I sighed. "Aaron and Quentin are both dead they died in the fire or maybe one was killed. I'm not sure but we don't have to deal with them anymore." Lucifer growled and punched the wall. I shook my head. "I can call to see if I can take you up there, me and Axel are going to see Ridge any ways." He nodded and I walked to my office I made a calling orb so I can talk to Michael it went off a few time before he picked up.

"Hello?" He asked softly.

"Hey uh is Castiel well enough to see?"

"I think so, I'll have to check. Hold on." He left for a minute then he was back. "Gabriel is asking why?"

"Uh well it's kinda of a long story. Me and Cas are related and uh my uncle which is his dad wants to see him."

"Ok, um... Hmm, he is ok enough for people to visit him but Gabriel told the recruits not too since a lot of them would have came in to check on him, especially his recruits. He just doesn't want him to get overwhelmed with people, cause he's worried Cas will freak out or something. J-Just be careful, he still has a concussion and he might have delayed reactions or ask you to talk slower."

"Okay I completely understand, it will only be me and my uncle."

"Ok, well just warn your uncle. He can't be loud or impatient with him. Gabriel will kick him out faster than you can think if he does anything that might remotely hurt Cas." I nodded.

"Okay thank you." I crushed the orb, and went to find Lucifer. "Okay so you can't be loud, impatient or do anything to hurt Cas."

"Okay I understand." I nodded and I got out two beads and stepped on them.

I knocked on the door of the hospital room that Cas was in. Lucifer was fidgeting a lot. I guess he is nervous about all of this. I mean he hasn't seen Cas in years. I sighed and the door opened. There was a girl at the door.

"Who are you two?" She asked a bit worried.

"You can let them in Grace," Gabriel said softly. She moved out of the way. We walked in and Cas didn't look too good. I walked over to Gabriel, I looked over and Lucifer hesitated with walking into the room.

"He's been like this since we got here." I whispered. Cas tried to sit up and Gabriel stopped him.

"No, you need to lay down Cas."

"I don't want to, I'll fall asleep," Cas pouted.

"It's ok if you fall asleep, I told you you only needed to stay awake for one day. I know that you're not going to die or go into a coma as long as you don't push yourself."

"Hey Gabriel do you know if Ridge is out of surgery." He nodded.

"Yeah, I think he was sleeping but Michael went and checked on him earlier so he might be awake." I nodded. Lucifer was talking to Castiel softly. I smiled. "I'll be back I'm going to check on Ridge." I said walking away. I found out what room he was in and I walked to the room and knocked on the door. Soon the door opened and Ryan answered.

"Hey Astrid."

"Hey is Ridge awake?" He nodded and opened the door, I walked in and Ryan taped on my shoulder.

"He can't talk that well since the smoke that he inhaled hurt his lungs, so take it easy." I nodded.

"Hey Ridge."

"Hey," He said softly.

"Fe-" I was cut off by Layla walking in the room.

"Oh sorry I didn't realize that there were already a lot of people in here." She said softly.

"It's fine," Ridge said quietly. "You can come in."

"Um I just wanted to say thank for saving me a couple of days ago." He smiled softly.

"It's fine."

"Um how are you holding up?"

"My throat and chest hurts. Um Gabriel said I had a mild concussion and if I wasn't found when I was my lungs would have filled with blood and I was have basically drowned." Layla nodded.

"Did Valerie come by to see you?"

"Yeah, I think. She came in for a second then left I think. It could have been someone else but I'm sure it was her."

"Okay I told her to come see you since she looked like she was worried about you. Well I have things to do, I just wanted to say thanks." Layla said with a smile and left. I sighed and looked back at Ridge.

"I'm glad that you're doing better. How's Lalna holding up?"

"Um he was here a minute ago, oh he went to get some food with his dad." I nodded.

"Well I should go see how Cas and my uncle is doing. Comes to find out me and Cas are relatives." I said with a smile.

"You're what?" Ryan asked a bit shocked.

"Yeah me and Castiel are cousins. Lucifer is Cas's dad."

"He is?" Ridge asked, his voice cracked a bit. I nodded.

"Yeah I am." I sighed. "See ya later." I said walking out of the room. I walked down to where I left Lucifer and he was outside of the room. "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah Gabriel wanted Cas to get some sleep."

"How did it go?"

"I think it went pretty well." I nodded and I gave him the piece of candy and we were back at my place. I should help Axel with the paperwork. I hope Cas and my uncle got along.
