The Dark Hour

I groaned and I jumped when I remembered what happened. I looked around and I was tied to a chair. I felt my phone vibrate and it went off. Who is calling me? I looked around and I was at my old house. Wait where's my brother? I heard a crash in one of the back rooms.

"Aio!" I whispered/called out. Nothing. I sighed and tried to get my magic to cut the ropes. I felt sharp pain through my arms like something was hurting my vines. I quickly looked behind me. It was Aio.

"Aio what are you doing?"

"I'm not you're stupid brother." Aio snapped. I looked at him in shock. But he looks like my brother. He changed and he wasn't my brother anymore he had tan pinkish hair with golden eyes. "You're brother was dead. I took his memories and what he looked like. I mean Aaron did kill him for helping you escape. Now Aaron is dead and I need to find the thing you hid in the forest so I can bring him back." I shook my head.

"If I didn't tell him why would I tell you?" The guy smiled.

"Call me Jack but you will tell me cause Aio can get into the base and anything can happen to your friends." I screamed and shook my head. I had my vines knock him over and I use thorns to get the ropes off. I quickly stood up and pulled a bead out of my pocket. I yelped when I was tackled to the ground. Pain shot through my leg. Jack got up and my leg was a bright red. I think I sprained it again.

He threw something at me and it shocked me. I screamed and curled up in a ball. That hurt, I felt something running down my arms. I looked down and some of my burns that I had reopened and started to ooze and bleed.

"Wanna talk now?" I shook my head and pushed him away with my vines and took my thorns and tied them around him.

"You're not going to hurt me or my friends! I don't care who you think you are! You're a horrible person!"

"What are you going to do, kill me?" I bit my bottom lip and I guess that I lost control cause the next thing I knew I was covered in blood. Tears started to cover my face. I just killed someone! I wiped my face and got up. Sharp pain went through my leg but I didn't care right now. I went to the woods and got to the tree that I hid it in. I got there and reviled the hole. I pulled it out and sighed.

I limped back to my room, still covered in blood. I really hope that Riker is here but something in me hoped that he wasn't here. I unlocked the door and limped in to my place. I leaned against the wall and I saw that Riker turned and looked at me.

"You're still here."

"Holy shit, what the hell happened?" He asked quickly getting up and running over to me.

"Um yeah." I started to cry again. "M-My real brother w-wasn't really my b-brother. Apparently t-they killed him, and they used a shapeshifter named Jack to a-act like my brother."

"Did he hurt you? Wait don't I'm stupid, let's get you to the infirmary."

"Uh can I changed first. If Valerie sees me covered in blood she's going to flip out." I said limping to the room. I got on different clothes and got the blood out of my hair and off my face as best as I can. I limped out of the room and walked over to Riker. "Okay I'm ready to go."

"Are you ok walking there or do I have to carry you?" He asked looking at my leg.

"I think I'll be fine walking." I said looking up at him. We walked to the infirmary and half way there I had to stop. The back of my head was hurting and the hallway started to spin. I quickly grabbed ahold of Riker. He picked me up and carried me the rest of the way to the infirmary.
