"Where do you think he is?" I asked rubbing my hands together. I think it was getting colder somehow.
"I'm not sure we should check the bakery." I nodded.
"Ok, where is that?"
"Over here." She said grabbing my wrist. I followed her through the crowd to what looked like a bakery, it smelled wonderful.
"Hello there everything is 50% off cause of the wi- Princess!" The guy shouted some.
"Hey Jake have you seen a guy about this high, black hair with two other guys." He nodded.
"They left here about 30 minutes ago. Check with my brother." Astrid nodded.
"Thank you." I followed Astrid back into the crowd and I sighed.
"So how are we going to find Cas and Layla?" I asked trying to start a conversation.
"I'm not sure, I was going to suggest going to Rose but Ryan won't let that happen."
"Who's Rose?" I asked curiously.
"She's a very strong witch that I crossed paths with in my youth."
"Oh, ok. Well we have Ridge and Valerie, and you know some magic right?"
"Yeah, but I don't use my magic that much. So I don't know if I'm that strong, but I guess whatever helps get them back." I nodded then ran into someone.
"Woah hey watch it," They snapped.
"Hey! You watch where you're going!" They walked off and I looked at Astrid.
"We really need to find Vincent."
"I know."
"Astrid?" Someone called out.
"Did someone call my name?"
"Yeah, but from where?" I asked looking around.
"Stay right there!" They yelled. "There you guys are. What are you doing out here in the cold?" Vincent asked.
"Looking for you," I said rubbing my arms.
"Well I got the food."
"Then let's get back to the hotel." I nodded. I wanted to check up on Ridge.
"Hey Skyla Ryan should have your room key. Uh he should be in room 22B." I nodded.
"Ok, I'm going to check on Ridge first. You want to come with and maybe talk to his sister?" I asked.
"I guess." We found the room Ridge was staying in and I knocked. Lalna answered the door and smiled at us.
"Hey guys, did you find Vincent?"
"Well he kinda found us." Astrid said with a small laugh. I nodded.
"Yeah, um so how's Ridge?" I asked as Lalna let us in.
"He fell asleep about an hour ago, but he seems fine."
"That's good how are you doing with the cold. Sorry that I didn't warn you guys before you came."
"I'm fine-ish," Lalna said softly. "The scarf I have really helps with the cold." Astrid nodded.
"Okay, but if you start feeling ill please tell us." He nodded.
"I will." A door opened and Valerie came out rubbing a towel on her head.
"At least the water's warm," She said setting the towel on a bed. "I- Oh hey."
