"So what is it like working with my dad?" I asked Hannah.

"Oh he's a goofball, but honestly that's what keeps the rest of us sane. We're all so serious and he's what we all really need most of the time." I nodded.

"I was just wondering. I don't really know him as well as you might."

"Oh he's a sweetheart. Kinda the opposite of his brother though, which I always thought was weird."

"Who's his-"

"Ok that's enough," My mom interrupted. "Sorry to cut this short but I really want Lalna to get some rest."

"Oh ok," Hannah sighed. She got up. "It was nice to meet you. I hope we can talk again sometime." I nodded.

"Me too." She left and Ridge sighed and quickly kissed my forehead.

"I'll be back later," He said softly. I smiled at him.

"Ok." He left and my mom shut the door.

"Ok, you get some sleep I have to go talk to your father." I nodded.

"Ok." She smiled and quickly hugged me.

"I love you honey."

"I love you too mom." I laid down as she shut off the lights. I sighed and closed my eyes.

I was walking to my first hour class. I was a freshman now, even though I was supposed to be an eighth grader. The teachers just had to move me ahead a year.

"Hey pipsqueak!" I quickly tried to get away but I was yanked back by the hood of my jacket. "Hey I was talking to you." Bradley shoved me against the wall and glared at me.

"Where you going pipsqueak?" He asked lowly.

"Cl-Class," I squeaked.

"I think you're in the wrong section then, this is the high school."

"I-I'm a freshman."

"Oh are you now?" I nodded. "Well not for long." I closed my eyes as he went to hit me and I screamed at a pain in my side. I opened my eyes and I saw Dean standing there. He pulled a bloody sword back and I started to fall.

"Lalna! Wake up!"

I bolted up and gasped. I saw Astrid looking at me worried, and she was holding my hands away from me. I looked at my arms, long slightly bloody scratch marks were going down my arms. I sniffled then I started crying.

"Shhh it's okay you're safe."

"I-I d-did it again," I cried.

"Hey Lalna it happens, it's not your fault." She said pulling me into a hug. I hugged her back and hiccupped.

"I-I told my mom that I wouldn't, and I did."

"You couldn't know if you would or wouldn't it's fine it happens and there's no way you could've known that you wouldn't." I sniffled and wiped my eyes.

"She's not going to be happy though."

"Lalna I bet this won't make her upset probably a bit worried, but not mad." I nodded.

"Yeah, I don't want to worry her though."

"That's what mothers are for. They're there to worry about you when no one else is."

"I guess."

"How about we wrap up your arms till Ryan is free to heal your arms."

"Ok," I said softly. "I think my mom left the first aid kit on the table."

"Sit tight I'll be back." She said getting up and leaving the room. I sighed and rubbed my arms. The first time I did this I freaked my mom out. I started wearing gloves to bed for a while. Then I met Ridge and Skyla, and I started having less of these fits at night. They started becoming really rare and most the time I could hide it if it did happen. I really didn't know why they were coming back.

"Let me see your arm." Astrid said sitting down. I held out my arms and let Astrid wrap them. She got the bandages on and sighed. "How are you feeling?"

"Fine, I guess," I muttered. She nodded.

"That's good." I sighed, then I realized something.

"How did you get in here? I thought my mom locked the door."

"Uh I um kinda broke it." I looked at the door and it was broken off the hinges.

"Oh."

"Sorry."

"It's ok. Um I'm sure it can be fixed. Maybe."

"I hope so." I nodded

"Yeah, I-I think it can be." Maybe.
