I opened the door for Allison and smiled.
"I didn't expect you to be here."
"Well I needed to talk to Astrid really. I forgot to come over after work that one day."
"She's on the couch." We walked into the front room and Astrid sat up.
"Hey Allison is everything okay?" She nodded.
"Yes, I've just really needed to talk to you about something important. Axel you should probably hear this too."
"What is it?" Astrid said a bit worried.
"Well, it's about Lalna and his father."
"What about them? I know Lalna is a nonhuman, first you need to tell me what Lalna is."
"Well, Lalna is only half nonhuman, I think. You remember when I told you about the twin angels? One of the angels and I fell in love and he stayed with me for five years. During that time we had Lalna. We both wanted Lalna to look human, because if he didn't he would have to leave me. I didn't want to give up my baby and he didn't want me to be alone, cause we both knew that he would have to leave. Lalna was born with wings. Soft, white angel wings."
"So that's why he has a black spot on his back."
"That's the seal his father put to hide his wings. If he didn't then Lalna would have been taken away from me."
"Okay so what the other reason why you're here?"
"His father came and visited me a while ago. He warned me about a war that's about to break out. He said that demons were going to flood this world and it would be chaos. Him and his kind were getting ready for the war. I just wanted to warn you."
"Oh no, this can't be happening." Astrid said standing up.
"What's going on? I'm really lost."
"They're looking for me."
"Who?"
"The other kingdom that killed my family."
"Astrid, if this war does involve you then please keep my son out of it."
"I will do anything to keep my friends out of it, all of them. I don't want them to get involved with this." Allison nodded then stood up.
"Alright, but if it's completely unavoidable then I need warn you about something. Lalna's wings will come out if he is gravely hurt or if someone takes the seal off, but the only one that can take the seal off is an angel." Astrid nodded.
"Okay I'll make sure to not get him it in. I just don't know why here though."
"I don't know either. I should get home."
"Okay bye Allison." I said standing up.
"Good bye Axel," She smiled. She left and quietly shut the door behind her. Astrid sighed and sat down.
"This can't be happening."
"Astrid everything is going to be okay." She shook her head. I sighed. "Let's get to bed." I said picking her up. She groaned and I laid her down in bed. I was going to walk off till she grabbed my wrist. "What is it?"
"I don't want to be alone." I smiled and laid down. "Tonight has been eventful and I uh.." She paused.
"Are you trying to say something here Astrid?"
"No!" She hit me with a pillow.
"Come on tell me!"
"Fine! I like you get over it already!"
"So what do you want to be now."
"I don't care I'm going to sleep." She said rolling over I laughed and laid there while she slept. She is really crazy for a demon.
