I was playing with the shadows when Seto came back. I bounced off the couch and smiled.

"Hey, so what happened? What did you have to do?" I asked curiously.

"Oh I was just Astrid's backup. Nothing really happened."

"Ok, so what do you want to do?" I asked standing up.

"Well I have training at five." I looked at the clock. It was 4:47.

"Really? You know you don't have to train all the time."

"I know, but I'm being put in a special group of elites for a mission and I want to be ready for it."

"What mission? When are you going?" I asked a bit worried.

"I think in about a month, and I'm not sure yet. I want to be prepared for it since I'm going to be the youngest one there."

"Why do you even need to go?"

"Well I'm one of the top people of my class. I know how to get out of sticky situations with and without my wings. I can use almost anything as a weapon and I can benefit my teammates."

"Did you sign up for this or were you selected?" I asked curiously.

"Michael told me about it and offered me a place in it. I accepted cause I thought it would prove to my peers that I could be an equal to them."

"Seto you don't need to prove anything to them. They don't matter."

"Well I'm going, I've been training for this for about two months now. I have to go, I want to be there early so I can warm up first without wasting any time." I looked at the clock, 4:50.

"Seto, I think you're already ready for this."

"I just want to be prepared, and I need to be ready for anything."

"But-" He was out the door before I could say anything else. I sighed and flopped back down on the couch. I couldn't believe this. An elite mission? That sounded really dangerous. What was it even for though? I got up and quickly left and ran down the hall. I needed to talk to Michael. I wanted to know what Seto was getting into and if it was dangerous. I wasn't looking where I was going and as I rounded a corner I ran straight into someone. I got knocked backwards and I fell on the ground.

"Woah there little buddy, are you ok?" I looked up and I saw someone who looked like Michael, but he didn't really seem like Michael.

"I-I'm fine," I said getting up. "I-I wasn't looking where I was going."

"Happens to the best of us. So where are you off to in such a hurry?"

"Michael's office, I need to talk to him about this mission my friend's going on."

"Who's your friend?" He asked curiously.

"His name is Seto. He's 12, and a little bit smaller than me."

"Oh I think I know what you're talking about. Mission Northwards."

"You do? What's it about? Is it dangerous? Who is all going on it? Are they going to be-"

"Woah woah, one at a time kiddo. Me and my brother are just sending a small team to take care of a band of demons that are working with some fallen angels. Nothing that they can't handle."

"Is it really that serious?" I asked a bit worried.

"Well in about a month they're getting together, as in all of the gangs are getting together, for this thing. I don't remember all the details. We're sending them in that day to figure out their plan, and if it's bad stop it at all costs."

"Oh, how long will it take?"

"Hopefully not long, but it could take a few months." I bit my lip. "Hey I'm sure your friend will be fine, Seto you said? Seto works personally with my brother, I'm sure he will be fine." I nodded.

"Ok, I'm just worried. I don't like the idea of him getting hurt."

"No one likes anyone they care about getting hurt kiddo, but sometimes it happens and it most the time they'll be ok. This is why we're sending an elite team. People we know can and will handle it. I'm confident that they will come back fine." I sighed.

"Ok, I'm going to go find Michael and maybe watch Seto train. It was nice talking to you... um?"

"Oh right, I'm Gabriel."

"Wait, the Gabriel as in one of the four leaders here?" I asked shocked.

"Yeah, I was a bit surprised you didn't know me but it's fine," He smiled.

"Sorry I was just really worried and not thinking."

"I get it, Michael and Seto should be training in the field just outside Michael's office." I nodded.

"Thank you."

"No problem." I ran off towards Michael's office. Hopefully this thing won't be as dangerous as I think it might be.
