"Thank you for letting me talk to you." I said looking at Allison while she brought in the hot tea.
"It's no problem honey, so what did you want to talk about?"
"Well it's been itching at me for a while, when I was sick and Axel told you that I was a demon, why didn't you freak out or laugh thinking that it was a joke?"
"Well you're not the first nonhuman I've met. First was actually an angel, well two. They were twins and they knew how to keep their wings hidden from view. It's difficult to try and explain that," She sighed.
"I can hide mine cause they go into my back and look like tattoos, but what do you mean I'm not the first that means there are others like me here in this world?"
"Yes, not exactly demons but nonhumans. There's shapeshifters and angels and just about anything you can think of. I haven't met them all but I'm sure they're out there." I nodded.
"Sorry for asking all these questions, it's just been bothering me. How would they have gotten here though?"
"It depends, the angels I met were protecting one of my friends and this other girl because they were their guardians. Other creatures could be either cursed, exiled, or just chose to live here." I nodded.
"Okay." There's so many questions that I want to ask but I know she can only answer certain ones. "Do you think that they would come out when they feel safe or know that someone is there for them?" She nodded.
"Oh yes, that's how I met the angels. They trusted me and my friends to keep their secret and we did. I'm trusting you to do the same." I nodded.
"Of course, if Axel and them have kept mine this long I'll keep theirs. So you told Lalna about us in stories." She smiled.
"I told him truths. I told him about the angels that fought to protect us and the shapeshifters and the hidden people with special gifts. He was little and I knew he wasn't going to tell anyone and if he did it would just be the ramblings of a child." I nodded.
"I showed Lalna some of my magic and some spells that I know. He was really into it."
"He's always been curious. He pretended he had magic when he was four. Cutest thing ever."
"I bet it was, I should get back home. Ridge and Lalna should be there from school any minute."
"Do you want me to drive you there?" She asked.
"No I ca-" I was cut off by a knock coming to the door.
"Allison is Astrid still here?" Axel asked through the door.
"Well I guess Axel is here to pick me up. Thank you again for letting me ask you questions."
"Anytime, you behave now and please don't let Lalna get into any trouble."
"I won't I gave him my necklace so that's been protecting him at school."
"That's really sweet, thank you."
"No problem, I should go." I said walking out of the house. Axel quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me into the car. "Axel what's going on?" I asked worried.
"We have to go to the cops."
"What? Why?"
"We're going to get Ridge out of his Uncle's house." I just stayed quiet as he drove.

It's been a few hours and we told the police everything we know we were in the waiting room waiting for Ridge to come to the station and see his uncle behind bars. I perked up when I heard the door open. A middle age guy walked in cuffed and after that guy was Ridge.
