Axel moved Astrid into his room while I made Ridge sit down on the couch.

"Come on Ridge, just spit it out. I want to know what happened." He looked panicked. He tried to say something but nothing came out. Then he looked at Lalna. Lalna just sat down next to him.

"It's ok, just take your time. No one is rushing you and we're not going to judge you on what happened," He said gently. Ridge seemed to calm down a little then he nodded.

"Ok, um I was doing my homework and my uncle came home early," He said slowly. "I locked my door and was going to get my phone when he started yelling for me. I didn't answer so he came up to my room and tried to open the door. He yelled for a bit then went to go get the keys. I got my phone and went under my bed and called Axel cause I didn't know what else to do." He stopped for a minute then softly continued.

"My uncle got the door unlocked and he looked for me in my closet first. So I ran, I almost made it to the door but he caught me. He threw me to the ground and started yelling at me. I got up and I yelled back then he um... He hit me. I went back to the ground and he continued yelling and when I tried to get up he shoved me back down again. I saw Axel's car outside and that's when my uncle got more mad. He pulled me up then hit me again and that's when Axel came in. My uncle threw me back down and started yelling at Axel and while he did that I ran to the door. Axel punched him and got me out of there." He stopped and I blinked.

"Wow, um your uncle's a dick." Ridge snorted and Lalna quickly covered his mouth to muffle his giggling.

"Skyla!"

"It's true! He left a freaking bruise Ridge. That's not going away for at least a week."

"I'm fine. I haven't seen my uncle since yesterday and-"

"That doesn't matter. He still hurt you. And over what?"

"That's not impo-"

"It is important Ridge," I insisted. "Whatever excuse he is using to do this is wrong. Just tell us what it is." He shook his head.

"No, it doesn't matter."

"Ridge-"

"I don't want to talk about it," He said quickly. I sighed then Axel came into the room.

"Okay so Astrid is sleeping but I think she is getting worse."

"What do you mean worse?" Ridge asked quickly.

"Her fever is almost two hundred I can't see how her body can handle that high of heat."

"She did say she's from hell," I muttered.

"Yeah but I don't think hell would be that hot."

"Well I don't know I've never been to hell."

"See, and I already had to change the cloth more than once I don't see her getting any better any time soon."

"So what do we do?" Lalna asked worried.

"Um I think we should just give her medicine and hope for the best. We can't really take her to the hospital because of what she is." I nodded.

"Ok, but we don't know anything about being a doctor. Literally none of us know this stuff."

"I know that Skyla but I don't know what else to do."

"Can't we call my mom?" Lalna asked softly. "She's a nurse."

"Okay but when she finds out that Astrid has a two hundred degree temperature how are we going to explain that?" Lalna shrunk down a bit and shrugged.

"I don't know," He mumbled.

"We can always see if she can help and we can always lie or tell the truth one of the two."

"It's better than just letting her get worse," I sighed. "Besides I'm sure she can keep a secret. Right?" Lalna nodded.

"Okay when does she get off?"

"After midnight," Lalna said softly.

"Okay um I guess we wait till then."

"What do we do till then?" Ridge asked worried.

"I don't know keep an eye on her." I turned back to Ridge.

"Maybe you could tell us why your uncle was mad at you?" He shook his head.

"No, I told you I don't want to talk about it."

"Skyla drop it he told you what happened."

"But I want to know why it happened. There's got to be a reason."

"I know there is a reason and there's a reason for everything, do you guys want me to order something so we all can eat."

"Sure," I said boredly. The boys just nodded.

"What do you guys want?"

"Can we get Chinese?" Lalna asked perking up a bit.

"I'm fine with Chinese," Ridge smiled.

"Okay I'll order."

"Order some sushi with that!" I shouted as he walked out of the room.

"You will probably be the only one eating it."

"That's fine!" I freaking loved sushi. Ever since my dad took me to get some I've loved it. I sighed and laid down on the couch while Ridge and Lalna moved to the two seater couch. I was going to get an answer from Ridge, eventually.
