I couldn't find Ryan, so I went back to the room. I sighed and quietly went to the kitchen and made myself a simple sandwich. I slowly started eating it and sighed. It kinda bothered me that I was just seen as a freak everywhere. I hated it. I was halfway through my sandwich when the front door opened. I quickly ducked down out of sight and just listened.

"Look Lucifer is just her uncle you don't need to freak out... Yes he's a good guy.... He's just protective of Astrid since her other uncle died and her dad is dead I mean I would be too. No it's fine." He sighed. "Look Astrid is going to be fine, the surgery from the miscarriage didn't help since she got an infection and the poison pills didn't help either. She will wake up in a couple of days, have Simon get more of the green medication to help get more of the poison out. Okay call me if you have any more questions. Okay bye." Who tried to poison Astrid? And she had a miscarriage? That sounded horrible. "For the last time he won't kill you! Just talk to him Lucifer is a lot nicer than you think... Bye Axel..." I heard Ryan walk around then I think he sat on the couch. I peeked up at him and he was looking at the ceiling. I quickly ducked down as he moved.

"Sky I know you're there." I sat down on the floor and just stayed quiet. "I understand that you don't want to talk I've been pushing about things." I finished my sandwich and sighed. I knew Ridge told him, and I didn't want to talk about it, but I needed to.

"So uh how was your day?"

"Fine," I said softly.

"That's good."

"How was yours?"

"Good I guess, had to pump Astrid's stomach."

"Oh, she is ok?"

"Not really."

"Is she going to be ok?"

"I think so, just as long as she stays on the medicine that I put her on. I just hope no one jacks with it like they did with her pain medication."

"Yeah." I got up and moved to the opposite side of the couch Ryan was sitting on.

"Yep, Axel was freaking out earlier I don't think I calmed him down though."

"Well he does worry a lot. If he didn't I don't think we would've become friends."

"No kidding."

"I'm serious. The day we met Axel Ridge and I were at the park and it started storming really bad but we both didn't want to go home. So we just decided to go to Wal-mart or someplace else and Axel saw us walking and took us to his place." He laughed a little.

"That seems like Axel to be honest."

"Yeah, we became friends with him then the following year we met Lalna and me and Ridge introduced him to Axel and all four of us were friends."

"That's good. Everything works out in the end." I nodded.

"Yeah I guess. Axel's only known Lalna for a year and it took Lalna a few weeks before he would say anything to him."

"Is he like that with everyone?"

"Lalna?"

"Yeah."

"From what I've seen, yeah. He took a while to warm up to me and Ridge then we started taking him over to Axel's. Sometimes, even if he is comfortable with a person, he'll just be quiet and not talk. I don't know why but he does."

"Hmm, I don't know him well enough, so I'm not sure."

"I would ask Ridge. He hangs out with Lalna more anyways."

"Yeah." I sighed then got up.

"I'm going to go to bed, it's been a long day."

"Night sweet dreams."

"Night," I said softly as I walked into the bedroom. I changed into pajamas then flopped down on the bed. I remember when it was just me and Ridge. Running around, avoiding our families, hiding from the world in one we created. Now we have more people and we have found something entirely new. I closed my eyes and sighed. Things got a lot more complicated with more people.
