My alarm went off and I groaned. It was a bit hard to breathe. There was some sort of pressure on my chest. I reached over and shut off my alarm then tried to sit up, but something was weighing me down. I opened my eyes and looked down to see blond hair. Lalna was sleeping with his head on my chest. I smiled then gently shook his shoulder.

"Lalna, Lalna you got to get up." He groaned then stretched a bit before he tiredly opened his eyes. "Hey sleepyhead, good morning." He blinked then smiled.

"Morning," He yawned.

"Come on, we got to get ready for school."

"Ok." He got up and I got up and grabbed some clothes while he went to the kitchen. I got dressed then went to the kitchen and found Lalna eating cereal.

"Is Axel up yet?" I asked getting my own bowl.

"I don't think so," He said while rubbing his eyes. I nodded then sighed.

"He'll get up in a little bit." Lalna nodded then finished his cereal. We were ready for school by the time Axel got up.

"Have fun at school." He said rubbing his eyes. "Don't get into fights. Update really there isn't an update Astrid is still the same as she was last night." I nodded and sighed.

"Thanks Axel, we'll come back after school."

"Okay, see ya." We left and walked down to the bus stop. Lalna was leaning tiredly against me as the bus pulled up to the stop. We got on and just sat in the front. Lalna was still leaning on me but I didn't mind. We made it to school ten minutes early and I just started walking to my first hour.

"Ridge?" Lalna asked tiredly. "Can you wait for me after school?" I nodded.

"Yeah, I'll wait for you." He hugged me and I gently hugged him back.

"Have a good day." I smiled.

"You too Lalna." He let go and I watched him walk towards his first hour. I sighed and started going back towards my first hour.

School flew by fast. I barely had any homework. I was waiting at the front of the school for Lalna and a minute later he ran up to me.

"Hey Ridge, let's go," He said excitedly. I smiled and nodded.

"Ok, come on." We started walking to Axel's and Lalna was just bouncing with energy.

"We made crystals in science. Not sugar crystals real ones. And mine is a blueish green and when it dries I'll take it home so you can see it." I nodded.

"Ok Lalna, that sounds great."

"Umm Ridge, why is that car following us?" I blinked.

"What car?"

"That black one." We both turned around and my blood ran cold. Oh no. I grabbed Lalna's hand and he jumped.

"Come on," I said urgently as I started running. Lalna ran with me and I heard the car taking off after us. I saw an alley and I pulled Lalna down it.

"Why... are we... running?" Lalna panted.

"I'll explain later, we just got to get to Axel's," I said quickly. We ran down a few more alleyways before we made it onto Axel's street. We ran down to his house and I quickly got out the key Axel gave me and unlocked the door. I pulled Lalna inside before shutting the door and locking it.

Lalna was wheezing and I quickly dug through his bag and found his inhaler. I handed it to him and he shakily took a couple puffs of it. I helped Lalna into the living room and got him on the couch.

"You ok?" I asked a bit worried. He nodded.

"Mhhm."

"You sure?"

"Yeah," He said softly. "So why were we running?" I sighed.

"Well um that was my uncle's car," I said softly. Lalna nodded.

"Oh."

"What's going on?" A soft voice asked. Lalna and I jumped and saw Astrid leaning in the doorway.

"What are you doing up?" I asked standing up.

"I heard the d-door shut and I t-thought that it was Axel."

"No it's just us, I don't think you should be up."

"Okay." She said turning and going back in the room. I sighed and sat down next to Lalna.

"So what are we doing to do about your uncle?" Lalna asked softly. I shrugged.

"I don't know. I'll tell Axel about it when he gets home but for now I'm just staying inside." Lalna nodded then yawned.

"Ok."

"Are you getting sleepy on me?" I asked jokingly. He nodded then leaned on my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around him and sighed. "Ok, a nap doesn't sound like a bad idea." We both shifted and I laid on the inside while Lalna was on the outside. I lazily had an arm around him and his head was on my other arm. I heard him softly snoring and I smiled before I closed my eyes.
