Oh my way home I stopped by a cake shop to pick up Astrid's cake. It was two layer vanilla cake with chocolate icing and it said her name on top of the cake. I got home and sat it on the table.

"I'm home!" I yelled.

"Axel!" Someone yelled I was tackled to the ground, I looked to see who it was and it was Astrid. I laughed and we got up off the ground when Skyla came into the room along with Ryan.

"Astrid are you okay?!"

"Yeah I just tackled Axel to the ground."

"Is he ok?" Skyla asked.

"I'm fine I didn't break anything I'm going to change though." I said walking into my room. I got on a pair of sweats and a gray short sleeve shirt. I sat down on the couch and Astrid sat right on top of my lap. "How's your head?"

"Good the headache is slowly starting to go away."

"That's good." I said with a smile.

"We already had dinner do you want me to fix you something." I shook my head.

"No I'm fine Astrid but thanks." She sighed and I pulled her down more in my lap to where my arm were around her neck and she was cuddled up into my chest. Astrid yawned. "Hey don't fall asleep on me birthday girl." She groaned and dug her head more in my chest, if that was possible. "What all happened when I was gone?" I asked looking at Skyla.

"Well Ridge and Lalna went somewhere and they got back like five minutes ago. I'm pretty sure Lalna has a cold. Ty and Ryan had an argument that me and Astrid had to break up and the angel person freaked out when he couldn't find Lalna."

"Damn I was just gone for a few hours and I figured everyone would be calm since her head hurts. I hope this isn't like this everyday." Skyla sighed,

"Me too." I sighed and then Vincent showed up out of nowhere. That made Skyla jump a bit and Astrid just groaned.

"Princess we need to talk."

"About?" She mumbled from my chest.

"King William." Astrid stood up and her eyes were glowing red. That's new. "His army is almost ready for an attack."

"Ugg fine I'll try to get rid of this headache and we can start practice again." Vincent nodded and disappear again. Astrid left and I looked up at Skyla.

"I don't think that's good."

"She shouldn't practice, last time she broke her arm."

"I know but we can't really stop her either way she will still practice no matter what we say." Skyla sighed.

"Yeah I guess." I sighed.

"I just need her to be careful. I don't want to lose her like she lost Edward."

"Yeah that would not be good."

"No it wouldn't be good. I hope she doesn't push herself too much." I said standing up. "I'm going to bed I had a long day night Skyla."

"Ok, I'm going to make sure Ty isn't causing trouble." I nodded and went to the room and laid down.

~~~~
I woke up to a loud crash that came from outside. I got up and went out there and Astrid was covered in dirt and bruises. I sat down beside Ryan and he looked tired.
"How long have they been at this?"
"All night."
"Let me guess you haven't had any sleep."
"No, but I'm used to it so don't worry." I nodded and sighed.
"She really needs to just chill."
"She won't though, she told you about Edward that's why when a war comes around she thinks that she needs to practice every day till it's time. She's scared that if she isn't strong enough she's going to lose someone else that she loves like Vincent, you and I. When she was younger she always talked about meeting her real mother."
"So the Queen isn't her real mother?"
"No she doesn't know her real mom and she wants to know her and see her but she could never find her."
"That's awful. So the king is her real dad but not the Queen is?"
"Yeah her father kept saying that she was a no one." I nodded and watched as the sparks flew from her sword and Vincent's.
