The Dark Hour

"Like I would tell you!" I yelled at Aaron. I'm not going to give it up.

"Where is it?" He said slapping me.

"My father trusted me with the spell, and if I give it back to you, that would mean disaster. I'm not telling you even if you kill me!" He growled and walked out of the room. I sighed, I know that he was going to come back. I sneezed and looked at the red dot on my hand. I can't believe that they sealed my magic. I pulled my legs up to my chest. My cheek was burning I wonder if everyone else is okay. If I give up the location of that spell that means I would of let my father down and I promised him that I would keep it safe.

"Layla!" I heard my father yell for me. I got off my mother's lap and ran to him.

"Yes Papa." He smiled and got down to my level.

"Look soon people are going to come here looking for this. I'm giving it to you so you can hide it for papa. Can you do that for me?" I nodded.

"Yes."

"Okay, make sure you care the only one that knows where its at. You can't tell mama or papa got it." I quickly nodded. I went and hid it in the forest. I went back to the house and my mama and papa were gone along with my brother.

"Mama! Papa! Aio!" I called out. I screamed when someone grabbed me from behind. After a few hours I was in a cell. I was alone it was dark the only thing that lit the room was the moon.

It has been a few weeks that I've been here. Aaron keeps asking me about the spell I just stayed quiet. They gave me water to keep me alive but they didn't give me any food. I jumped when I heard footsteps and I saw Aio.

"Aio!"

"Shh sis I'm getting you out of here, go and run to the closest town don't tell anyone about what Mama and Papa had, you hide got it." I quickly nodded. Aio showed me the way out and I ran, I don't know why he didn't run with me and stayed behind. Probably to protect Mama and Papa.

I kept walking in the woods till I stopped cause I saw someone but it wasn't anyone that I knew. I was a little scared but he had this vibe that he wasn't going to hurt me.

"W-Who are you?" I asked the tall man he looked like an angel that was sent to protect me.

"I'm Castiel, are you ok?" He asked gently. I shook my head.

"I uh....t-they-"

"She couldn't of gotten far!" Someone yelled. I quickly scrambled to my feet and hid behind Castiel. He looked at me then pulled out a little bead from his pocket and handed it to me.

"Just step on it and you'll go somewhere safe, away from anyone that would want to hurt you," He said softly. I nodded, and stepped on the beads and I fell into a room. I quickly looked around.

My head quickly snapped up when the cell door opened. I quickly got up and ran into a dark corner. I just want Valerie and Riker, they would of protected Cas and I. I tried and it got me kidnapped, I don't even know where Cas is at. I looked at the door and saw that they threw someone in and locked it.

"Cas?" I called out, I hope it was him but yet I hope it wasn't.

"L-Layla?" He said weakly. I quickly got up and ran over to him.

"Are you okay? You're not hurt are you?" I said panicking some.

"I-I'm fine," He said slowly pushing himself up. His right arm was bent the wrong way.

"No you're not your arm is broken."

"I-It is?" He asked looking at it. "Oh, um..." I quickly got up and ripped some of my sleeve. I bit my bottom lip and touched his arm and I put the fabric underneath his arm and tied it around his neck.

"There we go, I won't reset it cause you would be in a lot of pain." He nodded.

"I guess," He mumbled. "I really hope Gabriel doesn't come here. I mean I know he might but I hope he doesn't. I don't want him getting hurt cause he was worried about me." I nodded.

"Yeah, I know Valerie is going to come after us. But I don't get why they wanted you."

"I think it was to get to Gabriel, Michael and Hannah," He sighed. "They'll all be worried and they might all come here without thinking then they might be in the same situation we're in."

"But if they all come who is guarding the base? If they leave the base wide open then the demons could take it over." Cas nodded.

"Exactly." I shook my head.

"We can't let that happen. We need to find a way out of here." He nodded.

"Yeah, but how? My arm's broken and um it kinda hurts to breathe," He said softly. I shrugged and sneezed. I shook my head and walked to the door and jumped back when something growled and jump on the door. Do they really have a dog guarding us? I sighed and hit my head on the wall. There's no way we can get out of here without the use of magic.

I finally got Cas to sleep, I walked around the room trying to figure something out. The door opened again and Quentin walked in and grabbed me by my arm and I yelped.

"Let go of me!" I shouted.

"Shut up and come with me you little brat!" I can't leave Cas, he threw me over his shoulder and walked out of the room. I was hitting his back trying to let me go. It didn't work, I was tossed on the ground I yelped and he put chains around my wrist and ankles. What do they plan on doing? Aaron walked in and sat in the chair while Quentin walked over to the fire place and grabbed an iron in it.

"Now tell me where the spell is at." I bit my bottom lip and shook my head.

"Never! I promised my father that I wouldn't tell anyone!" I screamed when the iron was put on my skin. I started to cry and my skin looked like it was boiling. Val is going to freak out. I screamed again when the hot metal touched my skin.

"Keep doing that till she talks." Quentin nodded and Aaron left, I coughed, then sneezed. I'm pretty sure I'm getting sick. I hope they don't hurt Cas anymore than they already have.

"Val please help." I whispered.

"What was that?" I shook my head.

"Nothing." He hit me with the hot iron in my side. I screamed and whimpered. It hurts, it hurts so bad.
