The Dark Hour

I kept drifting in and out of consciousness. After they found out about me they tried to get more information out of me but I just refused to tell them anything. Dean got fed up with me and stabbed me in the stomach and just left me alone. It was my magic keeping me alive. Just being in the dark gave me some strength so I wasn't dead, at least not yet. I heard crashing sounds coming from the hallway and I tried to sit up but my arms wouldn't move. Then the door open and I was kinda shocked to see Ryan.

"Oh my god Ty are you okay? Wait don't answer that." I tried to move again but my body wouldn't budge. "Hey don't move." He said getting the chains off. "Okay you need to get in more shade for your type of magic, my healing won't work on you. Okay upsy daisy." He said throwing my arm around his neck. He slowly pulled me up and I whimpered in pain.

"Hang on Ty, everything is going to be okay, Astrid has everything under control up stairs hopefully. Here we go this should help you faster." He said sitting me down. I immediately felt the shadows move around me, covering everywhere it hurt. Slowly the pain dulled down and I slowly tried to get up again. "Are you sure you're healed enough?" I nodded then took a step, then about crashed right into him. I think my ankle was popped out of place.

"I think we need to let the shadows heal you more, hmmm your ankle doesn't look so good."

"I-I think it p-popped out of place," I said shakily. "I'll be fine for now, b-but you said Astrid was here?"

"Yeah they kidnapped Axel and knocked me out."

"It's a trap, we got go help her," I said trying to get to the door, but I ended up falling on my face.

"Ty you can't be doing that on your ankle let the shadows heal that and how do you know that it's a trap they could be safe."

"Dean thinks that Astrid had me take Lalna's place, William is going to be furious with her." Ryan's eyes grew wide.

"I know this won't do much but it will help some." Ryan said placing his hands over my ankle and they started to glow a light blue. The pain in my ankle slowly went away and I tried getting up again. It hurt but not as bad.

"Can you walk on it now?" I nodded.

"Yeah, come on we need to get to Astrid before it's too late." I ran out the door, despite how much it hurt, and started heading to the throne room. Ryan opened the door and quickly looked around.

"Astrid!" He yelled. I went in and froze. Astrid was laying on the ground in an alarming large puddle of blood. Dean pulled his sword out of her and looked at us.

"Well look who decided to join us." He laughed and flicked his sword and the blood came right off. "Now you don't have to worry about your little princess." I bit my lip then used my shadow magic to grab his sword's shadow and I ripped it out of his hands and across the room. "Looks like someone got his strength back."

"Ryan please go help her," I said quickly grabbing Dean's shadow. "I'll keep him distracted." I threw him into the wall and I really hoped I knocked him out.

"There isn't much I can do it went all the way through she's needs surgery done on her." He said picking her up. "She's bleeding too badly to do anything here we have go." I nodded then someone grabbed my arm. I yelped as I was thrown back and I quickly looked up to see William.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" My face paled.

"I-I," I couldn't get anything out, I felt like I was frozen.

"That's what I-"

"Hey jackass!" Ryan yelled and broke something over William's head and he fell to the ground. "Let's go Ty." I quickly got up and hugged Ryan tightly. "Whoa dude chill we need to get Astrid out come on." I sniffled then nodded.
