"Come on," Seto said pulling me down the hallway.

"I'm coming," I smiled softly. We ran down to the infirmary and we stopped just at the entrance. It really wasn't as full as I thought it was going to be. The angels that were in here a few days ago were gone now and I saw the corner that Seto was in was occupied by someone.

"Excuse me," Seto said getting one doctor's attention.

"Yes. Can I help you with something?"

"Where's Gabriel? He told me to come in once a week for breathing treatments," He said softly.

"Oh yes he's in his office."

"Thank you." We walked over to his office and Seto knocked.

"Come in!" He called out. Seto opened the door and we walked in. Gabriel's office was completely different from Michael's. His office was messy. The desk was full of papers and books were on the floor and piled on the desk. He had a few medical machines by the wall and a few small ones on shelves. There were shelves of medicine and things along one wall too. He looked up from his desk and smiled.

"Hey Seto, um oh breathing treatment. Right um, I think it- Yeah it's this machine," He said quickly getting up and reaching up on the shelf. His arm was in a sling and I saw the cast on it.

"Gabriel what happened to your arm?" I asked curiously. He looked at it.

"Oh this thing, just got into a fight with this demon. It's no big deal."

"A demon?" Seto asked. "What were you doing fighting a demon?"

"Um n-nothing. Now let's just forget about that and get this thing hooked up and you started on this." He plugged it in then put a liquid thing in the tube thingy then attached a mask to it. He handed it to Seto and he put the mask on. "Just breathe in and out, and don't talk. It wastes the vapor that you need to breathe in so your lungs to get better." Seto nodded and Gabriel turned the machine on. A white vapor started coming out and Seto just slowly breathed.

"Oh um Ty, can I talk to you?" Gabriel said a little nervously. I nodded.

"Yeah what is it?"

"Um, we shouldn't talk here or in the med bay. Follow me. Oh and Seto we'll be back but if that thing stops letting out vapor you can shut if off." Seto nodded and Gabriel opened the door and I followed him to the other side of the Med Bay into another room. This room looked like a bedroom, but it was a little bit neater. Gabriel grabbed a chair and set it by the bed.

"Um you can sit here, I'll just sit on my bed." I nodded and sat down in the chair. He sat down on his bed and sighed. "Oh um, dang how did Michael do this?"

"Are you ok?" I asked a bit confused. He nodded.

"Yeah I just want to word this right without freaking you out, well you might freak out anyways, but that's not the point. Um so, this might sound weird but do you remember your mother?" I nodded.

"Yeah, she was a noble and we would sneak away from the castle for ice cream and walks in the park." He smiled a little then sighed.

"D-Did she tell you who your father was?" He asked softly. I shook my head.

"No, but I knew I had an older brother. But he had a different father than me. She always said that my dad was caring and nice. I figured he was an angel since my mom was a demon and I'm a fallen angel." Gabriel nodded then sighed and looked at his hands.

"So um, wh-when you can in for a check up awhile ago remember the blood test I had you do?" I nodded. "Well that really wasn't to see if you have any diseases. You don't but it's not the main reason. I have every fallen angel that comes here take a blood test cause I'm looking for someone, but I don't know what they look like cause it's been too long since I've seen them. I know they're a fallen angel but that's not a lot to go off of. I have Hannah run DNA tests on the blood and um, yours was a match." I looked at him kinda confused.

"A match? For what?" I asked softly.

"Um a match to my blood," He said slowly. I slowly let it sink in til it hit me.

"Wait! Are you saying-"

"Yeah, I didn't know how to tell you. Hannah told me last week and I wanted to tell you sooner but then a lot of stuff happened and ugg!! I swear I wanted to break it to you gently but I suck at words," He said quickly. I stared at him.

"Well mom was right about you being a goofball." He smiled then laughed a little.

"I have no idea how I got so lucky to meet her. I was just on a mission for Cas and I ran into her and after the mission we got talking. I helped her raise her first son then she got pregnant and she asked me to leave since she didn't want you to be in danger and I wasn't really welcomed in the demon world. I came and saw you a few times in secret but after you turned one she told me to stay away. So I did. It hurt to not be able to see you but I didn't want you or your mother to be put in danger."

"I should've not listened, I've should have kept an eye on her. I heard that William killed her and I had no idea where you went. I started testing ever fallen angel that came into the base and now I finally found you again and I just want you to know that I never would have left if she hadn't told me to. I wanted to be there for you, to see you grow up but I never got the chance to. I'm sorry if it just sounds like excuses but I swear I tried and I was pushed away to keep you safe. If I could I-" I quickly got up and hugged him. He jumped a bit then he gently hugged me back.

"It's ok Dad," I said softly. "I forgive you and I understand why you did what you did." He smiled then he sniffled a little. I pulled away and looked at him.

"Are you crying?" I asked with a smirk.

"No, I- Ok yeah, but it's fine," He smiled wiping his eyes. I smiled at him then sighed.

"We should go check on Seto." He nodded.

"Right, I bet it's done by now." We went back to his office and Seto was sitting there in the chair we left him in. The machine was shut off and he took the mask off. Gabriel looked at the tube then sighed.

"Ok, that's done. You come back next week for another one, I think about three months of this and you'll be done." Seto nodded and smiled.

"Ok thank you." Gabriel smiled.

"You're welcome, see ya later kiddo." We left his office and Seto looked at me.

"What did you two talk about?"

"Um stuff, I'll tell you later." We walked back to our room and I stopped outside the door. There was an envelope under the door. I opened the door and picked up the envelope.

"What's that?" Seto asked looking at it.

"I don't know, I'm going to open it." We went inside and we both sat on the couch as I opened it. Inside was a old wrinkled piece of paper, a neat folded piece of paper, and a little black drawstring baggie. I pulled out the newer paper and unfolded it.

I found this awhile ago. I thought you might like it back.

It wasn't signed or anything. I put the note on the table and I pulled out the old paper. I carefully unfolded it then I gasped. I remembered this. I was sold into slavery and I wrote this while I was with my first owner. I put the paper down dn quickly grabbed the black baggie and opened it. I dumped it out in my hand and I smiled. It was my mother's necklace. I thought I lost this for good. Seto looked at the necklace curiously.

"That looks like an angel's necklace," He said slowly.

"It was my mom's," I said softly. "I thought I lost it." I put it back in the bag and placed the bag on the table.

"Ty are you ok?" Seto asked softly. I nodded then hugged him.

"I'm fine, I just- I need a nap." Seto giggled then nodded.

"Me too."
