I hissed as my mom poured disinfectant on my arms. She wrapped them up in a clean towel after rinsing them off in warm water. She sighed.
"Wait here, I'll be right back." She quickly walked away and I sighed. My dad fixed the door and my mom about cried when she saw my arms. I felt really bad, I didn't want to make her cry. She made me go back to sleep before this. I heard a knock at the door and I heard my mom get it.
"Ryan, what are you doing here?" She asked curiously.
"I'm checking in on Lalna."
"He's in the bathroom, I was helping him clean up his arms."
"I can heal his arms since you cleaned them only if you want me to though."
"Um sure, I don't want him scratch into his skin deeper than he already has." I sighed and sat down on the toilet seat.
"Okay."
"He's in the bathroom. I'm going to put all this stuff back into the kit it came out of."
"Okay thanks Allison." I looked up as Ryan walked in, then I looked down at my feet. "Hey Lalna."
"Hey," I mumbled.
"Let me see your arms please." I unwrapped the towel from around them and showed him. He sighed. "How are you feeling with what Astrid gave you yesterday?"
"I'm fine," I sighed.
"Okay, your arms should be fine now."
"Thanks."
"Welcome Lalna." I sighed and rubbed my arms.
"Have you ever made anyone cry?" I asked softly.
"Sadly yes."
"Did you feel bad about it?"
"Yeah."
"My mom about started crying when she saw my arms. She doesn't like it that I've started doing this again."
"Well sometimes we don't know that we've done it till it's too late." I nodded.
"Yeah, I don't want to make her upset though."
"Well what did you do last time to make yourself stop?"
"I had to wear gloves to bed, and I think um I got better after I met Ridge and Skyla. Yeah, I started having less fits after I met them."
"Well for now why don't you wear gloves to bed to see if that will help."
"Ok, I will."
"And if it doesn't stop we can figure something else that might help." I nodded.
"Ok." He smiled and ruffled up my hair. My mom came back in then sighed.
"I got a call from work, they want me to come in as soon as I can."
"We can watch him." She nodded.
"Thanks Ryan, um here." She pulled a pair of brown velvet gloves and handed them to me. "I found them in one of the medical kits. They won't irritate your skin if you wear them to bed like other fabrics." She looked at Ryan. "Make sure you can hear him if he shouts out in his sleep, you'll need to wake him up before he hurts himself. Gloves don't stop everything."
"Okay I'll stay in here for the night. Or if I can find Ridge we can have him keep an eye on him." She sighed.
"Not sure how I would feel about that," She mumbled. "If Ridge stays he is not allowed to sleep in the same bed as Lalna. Lalna has a high enough fever as it is."
"Okay I'll tell him that he'll have to sleep in the front room. But that's only if I can find him." She nodded.
"Ok, I have to go." She kissed the top of my head and sighed. "Call me if anything happens."
"We will." She quickly left and I sighed.
"So what do you wanna do?"
"I don't know, I'm kinda hungry."
"Okay what do you want?"
"Um soup. Just soup for now, I don't know if I'll throw it back up." He nodded and went into the kitchen. I sighed and went to the living room. I sat down on the couch and wrapped a blanket around me. I really hoped I wouldn't throw up again.
