The Dark Hour

It was about one o'clock in the morning. I was worried about Axel so I couldn't sleep. So I was sitting on the couch chewing on my nails worried as hell. I stood up and started to walk around till the front door opened and Axel came into the living room. I ran over to him and jumped on him.

"Hey be careful there sweetheart." I dug my face into his shoulder. "Hey what's wrong?" He asked hugging me back.

"I was worried about you." He laughed a little bit.

"Hey I'm fine okay, there was some problems with some gang members that we picked up and they needed me to stay over time."

"Okay, I'm sorry for freaking out."

"Okay."

"Hey I'm going to get a shower." I nodded and went to the bedroom and laid down.

"Astrid I have to go to work I put money on the table for food!" Axel yelled from the door.

"Okay!" I yelled looking up from my math book. "You are going to try to get my graduation off right!"

"Yes!"

"Have a good day!" I yelled back to him. I got done with my math and Lalna was also done with his homework. "Do you want to practice flying?" I asked placing my book in my bag.

"Kinda, I was looking for Ridge and he's not here."

"Again?" He nodded.

"I kinda wanted him to be here."

"I know but I thought that he came home after school."

"He was at the front of the school then he just disappeared into the crowd and I thought he would at least some home first but he didn't."

"Weird. He was acting weird last night too, but let's find Ty and go outside." Lalna nodded.

"Ok," He said kinda quietly.

"We can show Ridge when he gets home."

"He should be home," Lalna mumbled.

"I know Lalna." I said going outside. Lalna and Ty followed not long after. "Okay Lalna you know how to control your wings so br-" I was cut off by laughing. I quickly turned around and Dean was standing right there.

"What the hell are you doing here!" I yelled at him.

"Astrid?" Lalna asked nervously. Ty pushed Lalna behind him and glared at Dean.

"Lalna stay back we have this."

"Hey Princess, Ty I see you have betrayed King William plus I was sent here to kill Ty and take Astrid to marry King William, and Lalna to keep him and use him as leverage."

"You're not getting Lalna!" I yelled at him. I heard wings then I saw Seto right behind me.

"If you have any common sense left in that thick skull of yours, I suggest you leave now," Seto said lowly.

"Aw Seto lovely to see you but I believe that we have something you both want. So come with me and your little friend won't get hurt." He said tossing me a calling orb. I looked in and gasped.

"You son of a bitch let Ridge go!" I yelled angrily.

"He what!?" Lalna yelled scared. Ty grabbed Lalna's arm and kept Lalna behind him. I growled.

"The only way that I'm going to see William is on the battlefield when I kill him!" He laughed.

"Then I guess we kill Ridge, good choice princess." He said with a smile.
