I finished making the pie crust and Riker started rolling it out and fitting into the pie tins while I checked on Ridge. He was still sleeping. I made sure he was on his back so he wouldn't hurt his ribs and that his head was on a pillow. I sighed and sat down. I looked up just as soon as I heard something fall from the cabinet and it scared me when Ridge just fell like that.
"Is he still sleeping?" Layla asked walking into the room. I nodded.
"Yeah, I didn't know making pie was dangerous," I said trying to lighten the mood. Layla giggled.
"Maybe, but Gabe said that he will be fine. I'll get pain pills for when he wakes up. I'll also change the rag." She said grabbing the rag and walking out of the room. I sighed then someone knocked on the door. I got up and answered it and was a bit surprised to see my dad.
"Dad, what are you doing here?" I asked softly.
"I was actually looking for you. Gabriel told something that I didn't even know about then I got to thinking and I thought you would like to know about it."
"What is it?"
"I'll tell you as soon as everyone else shows up. We're going to tell everyone at the same time."
"Everyone?" I asked a little confused.
"Oh my god, Layla! Michael's here!" Riker yelled.
"I swear I wasn't using my magic!" She said quickly. He chuckled.
"You're not in trouble, I just wanted to talk to Lalna. It won't take long."
"Okay." She looked a bit worried.
"He's not in trouble either."
"Then what do you need him for?" Riker asked curiously.
"It's a family matter."
"Did something happen to his family?" He asked worried.
"No, his mother is fine."
"What about his dad?"
"Um I'm his dad," He said a bit confused.
"What?!" Layla said a bit shocked.
"I can explain later," I said quickly.
"Yeah we really need to go. Come on Lalna." We left and started heading towards his office.
"So you haven't told your friends about me?" He asked softly.
"I didn't think it was that big of a deal. I always thought of you like a regular person. I guess other people don't see it that way." He smiled at me.
"That's ok, most people are supposed to see me as one of their leaders but I didn't want you to see me like that. I'm kinda glad you just see me as your dad instead of a leader." I smiled softly.
"Yeah, you didn't seem like a leader when I first met you."
"I wasn't trying to be," He chuckled. We made it to his office and Gabriel, Cas and Ty were there.
"Hey have you seen Astrid yet?" Gabriel asked my dad.
"No, but she should be here soon. I also asked her to bring Lucifer."
"I still don't trust him."
"Gabe, be nice."
"I will if he is."
"Look I'm not going to fight about this!" Astrid shouted popping into the room. "Oh hey, we're here." She said forcing a smile.
"I think that's everyone now," My dad sighed.
"No we're missing Hannah and Jason," Gabriel said quickly.
"Sorry, we had to neutralize some sodium hydroxide," Hannah said coming into the room with a kid with light brown hair and bright blue eyes.
"So why are we here again?" Astrid asked.
"Well me and Gabriel were talking about Cas's situation, then we started talking about our family," My dad said a bit nervously. "So I have a son, Gabriel has a son, and Hannah has a son. That's as far as I knew, before Gabriel told me Cas found his dad."
"Okay so what does that have to do with me. I'm just related to Cas." Astrid thought for moment and her face became white. "You've got to be kidding me."
"Hannah, Cas, Michael, and I are all siblings," Gabriel said sitting up. "That means all of our kids are cousins and Astrid you're our cousin."
"That means I'm related to Lalna, and all of your guy's kids."
"Um I think you already know Ty," Gabriel smirked. "He's my kid."
"I think my brain is going to explode."
"I have nephews!" Hannah squealed. "And a cousin! Oh my gosh!"
"I can't freaking do this right now?"
"I didn't see any of this coming." Lucifer said.
"How did not know about this sooner?" The kid by Hannah asked.
"Because I thought that I wouldn't see Cas again to be honest."
"I'm the only one that doesn't have kids," Cas said softly.
"I didn't even know that Gabriel had a kid," Hannah laughed. "He was the one that was like we can't have kids we have to focus on the base. And look at what he did."
"Hey!" He snapped. "You did it first!"
"And you yelled at me for it!"
"Hey this isn't going to help!" Lucifer snapped.
"Sorry," They both muttered.
"So why is this important?" Cas asked softly.
"Cause the demon kingdom and the head leaders of the angels are related," Michael said calmly. "We all have a connection whether we like it or not."
"Great." Astrid muttered. "So you called us all here just for that?"
"I thought you would like to know that," Gabriel said slightly confused. "You know if case you need help with something in your kingdom."
"I'm passing it down to Lucifer, I won't be running it anymore."
"You're not becoming queen?" Michael asked. Astrid shook her head.
"No there are reasons behind it, maybe I will when I'm ready but I'm not."
"We understand," Michael said quickly. "You still come to us if you need anything." Astrid nodded.
"Thanks." He nodded.
"No problem."
"Um dad, can I go back now?" I asked softly. He nodded.
"Yeah, go ahead." I ran back to Layla's room and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" I went in, Ridge was up and the room smelt great.
"Hey, um I'm back."
"Where'd you go?" Ridge asked rubbing his eyes.
"My dad wanted to talk to me," I said walking into the room.
"Hey did you know that his dad is Michael?" Riker asked. Ridge nodded.
"Yeah, I knew that." I smiled softly and walked over to him and sat down.
"How are you doing?" I asked softly.
"I'm ok, just a little tired. Riker yelling woke me up."
"I said I was sorry," Riker whined. I giggled then yawned.
"I'm tired too."
