My vision was blurry and everything was tinted red. I blinked and groaned as my head started pounding. I tried to sit up and my head hit something. I felt what was above me and I laid back down. My eyes were adjusting to the light as I felt around the small space. The floor was fuzzy and the ceiling was hard and cold. There was a flat fuzzy wall and the others were cold and weird shaped. I looked were the light was coming from, which was two corners.
I was so confused. I tried to look for anything else that could help me figure out where I was but I had no clue. I couldn't find a way out either. Then I heard an engine start up and everything started shaking a bit. It all hit me. I was in the trunk of a car. The car started moving and I started panic searching for a way out. I tried to kick the back lights out but it wasn't working, and I couldn't find the latch for the trunk. Then the car stopped.
I heard a pop then bright light flooded in and all I could see was a dark hand.

I bolted up in my bed and gasped for breath. I rubbed my eyes and sniffled.
"Bad dream?" I looked up and saw Ridge standing by the door. I nodded.
"Yeah." He walked over to me then sat down by me.
"I'm having them too," He muttered. I sniffled again and leaned against his shoulder.
"I was scared, I didn't even see who took me," I said quietly. Ridge rubbed my back and sighed.
"After school Axel and I were looking for you and after looking through the school I decided to call you and the person on the phone gave me a choice. Either go back to my uncle's house or let them hurt you." I looked up at him as he started sniffling. "A-And as much as I didn't want to go back th-there I didn't want anything to hurt you. C-Cause I-I care about you too much and I don't want you to get hurt." He quickly hugged me and I just sat there shocked. Did he really just say that? Did he mean all of that? I hugged him back and sniffled.
"Ridge?"
"Yeah?"
"I umm, I-I really um like you," I said softly. I saw him smile a bit then he sighed.
"I like you too."

I think we both fell asleep after that. I was really tired and I guess Ridge was too. I woke up to someone shaking my shoulder.
"Hey you guys dinner is here." Astrid whispered. I groaned and rubbed my eyes.
"What time is it?" I asked tiredly.
"6:00." I sat up then Ridge groaned.
"I don't want to get up," He whined.
"Do you want me to bring you plate of chinese?" He nodded.
"Please?"
"Okay I'll be back." Astrid left the room and Ridge sat up.
"Are you ok?" I asked softly. He shrugged.
"Kinda, I didn't have any nightmares this time."
"Me either."
"That's good."
"Umm Ridge? Did you-"
"Can I ask you something?" He asked quickly. I nodded and he sighed. "Ok um before we fell asleep, do you remember what I said?" I nodded. "So um do you um-"
"Here's your food. Oh was I interrupting something?" Ridge nodded then took the plate from her.
"Thanks for the food," He said quickly. Astrid nodded and walked out of the room.
"That was um," I giggled. "Weird."
"Lalna will you go out will me?" Ridge asked quickly. I blinked then nodded.
"Yeah, yes." He sighed in relief then smiled.
"Sorry I suck at words." I giggled and hugged him.
"It's ok, I do too." A second later we both heard cheering behind the door.
"Finally!!"
"Go away Skyla!" Ridge shouted.
"We all were rooting for you guys!" Astrid yelled.
"Astrid!" I started giggling and Ridge sighed.
"Do you want some food?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yeah, I'm kinda hungry."
