The Dark Hour

I was walking around the garden and stopped and hid behind a bush, who was that? They sounded familiar but I wasn't sure.

"You're never going to let that go are you?"

"No! It was crazy you should've seen it!"

"I can't think that it was that exciting Max."

"It was Raymond! I swear to god it was amazing! They were pretty awesome."

"Before or after you got kidnapped."

I popped my head up and saw that it was some friends. I sighed and stood up.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked. Max's eyes lit up and he tackled me to the ground. I yelped as I fell on my butt.

"Astrid!" He yelled. I laughed and Raymond walked over and pulled Max off of me.

"Sorry he wanted to come see you, he's a little hyper."

"I take it he had sugar?" I asked standing up.

"Yeah sadly he found the candy, I don't even know where to hide them he keeps finding it."

"Well don't buy so much."

"I'm not the one that keeps buying candy Max is."

"I like sugar!"

"Astrid! Your uncle is back!" Ryan yelled running over to us and Skyla on his heels.

"What? He just left an hour ago how is he back already?"

"Um I guess they kinda found out I'm not sure."

"Okay."

Ryan, Skyla and I went to my office and my phone was flashing. I picked up my phone and it was a text from Lalna.

Lalna- Someone broke into my room and I'm hiding in the bathroom and I need help!!

"Uh you guys, did you get any texts from Lalna?"

"I don't have my phone on me," Skyla said a bit confused. "Why?" I handed her my phone. "Oh, he sent that thirty minutes ago."

"Who would of taken him?"

"I don't know. How could anyone even get him? He was at the angels base."

"Unless there was a inside man at the base."

"Like who?" Skyla asked yelling slightly. "And why are we just asking questions? I'm going back to the base." She pulled a bead out of her pocket and stomped on it. She quickly disappeared. I sighed and walked out of the office and found Lucifer.

"What the hell why are you back?"

"Cause there's some angels that are corrupted and they are using them for their little game, and they brought in a kid."

"Okay well apparently Lalna got kidnapped and I'm not going to stand around."

"Well if you're going to go in there, find Aio he will help you find who you're looking for. He owes me so just tell him that you're my family." I nodded.

"Okay."

"Look honey just don't get hurt promise me that you will make it back safely."

"I will don't worry." I said with a smile. "I'll be fine." He sighed and nodded.

"Okay just don't do anything stupid." I nodded, and turned to Lucifer.

"Can you give this to Aio when you see him please. He will know what to do with it." Lucifer said handing me a bottle.

"Astrid!" I turned and saw Ryan running over to me. "I'm coming with you."

"What? Why?" I asked a bit confused.

"I know the leader and I want to have a few choice words with him." I sighed and nodded.

"Okay just don't walk in."

"Trust me you sneak in and I'll go through the front door. Their leader won't want me dead."

"Ryan that's suicide!" I said slapping him across the face. "What is your problem!?"

"The leader's name is Aaron and he's my father. I have a few questions for him."

"Wait you want to talk to your dad after he sold you to the slave trade!"

"I don't expect you to understand Astrid I'm going." I sighed and nodded.

"Fine just don't get yourself killed." I said handing him a knife. He nodded and we left.
