I was bored. My dad went to another city to help with investigation and told me to stay with Axel. I had no problem staying with Axel but it was getting a bit crowded lately. There were nine people staying here now and there were not enough places to sleep for everyone. I was also still really confused on what to say to Ryan. I did not know him that well besides from he is a demon and he can heal people and he was Astrid's friend. Ty told me to just forget about it but I can't.
I sighed and just stared up at the sky from the back yard. Part of it was cloudy and the other part a bright sky blue. I looked over at Lalna, he was just reading a book under the tree. He's been quieter than usual, he barely talked to anyone even Ridge. Then again Ridge has been out of the house a lot. I had no idea what was going on anymore.
"Lunch!" Axel shouted. I got up and looked at Lalna again. He was still stuck in that book. I walked over to him.
"Hey Lalna, lunch is ready." He nodded then quietly got up and went inside. I followed him and sighed.
"Are you guys staying for lunch?" Axel asked Ryan and Vincent.
"No we're going to stay at my place for a while and you might want to talk to Astrid. She hasn't left her room since she got done talking to Lalna. We feel like we're getting in the way here. If Astrid has a problem have her call us."
"Okay see ya guys around."
"Bye Axel." They said leaving.
"Hey Axel, have you've seen Ridge?" I asked sitting down.
"He said something about needing to go to town."
"For what?" I asked a bit confused.
"I don't know he didn't say."
"And you're not worried about him?"
"I am but I'm glad he's getting out of the house. There's not much I can do to stop him."
"Did he say when he was going to be back?"
"He said in an hour that he should be back."
"Ok," I mumbled.
"Skyla I know you're worried about him but he's going to be fine."
"I'm kinda worried about everyone right now. Lalna won't talk, Ridge isn't even here and Astrid is just sitting in her room. Everything feels like it's falling apart."
"Astrid is going through things, after I took her to see my sister and mom she calmed down some finally but now I don't know what's wrong with her."
"I don't know either."
"Hey I heard it was lunch," Ty said walking in.
"Yeah have a seat I'll get you a plate." Axel said walking into the kitchen.
"Hey Ty, are you doing ok?" I asked sitting down. He nodded.
"I'm fine, why do you ask?"
"Cause everyone else is not."
"Why? I mean I know Lalna is confused about being Michael's son but I don't know what's wrong with everyone else."
"I'm going on a walk." Astrid said coming out of the room.
"How long are you going to be gone for!?" I called out.
"I don't know yet I need to think about somethings I'll be careful see ya later. Axel I want to talk to you later."
"Okay love you be safe don't let William do anything."
"Yeah yeah." She said walking out the door. I sighed and looked up as Seto came in.
"Um I'm looking for Lalna," He said quietly.
"I think he's on the couch," Ty said quickly. Seto nodded then went to the living room.
"Life has gotten crazy since Astrid showed up. Hey do you think Astrid is going to leave when this war is over?"
"I don't know. I don't think she wants to but at the same time I feel like something is going to make her leave."
"Yeah you're probably right. I kinda don't want her to leave, but if she has to then it's understandable."
"Well-" I heard a yelp from the living room then Lalna bolted into the kitchen. "What the-?"
"Lalna are you okay?"
"It was my fault," Seto said walking in. "I um I tried to um... I tried to take the seal off."
"Why?!"
"Well I thought that I could help him if I did that but I messed up and I don't think I can take it off. I'm not trained enough in magic to do it and I think I shocked him a bit by accident."
"Don't do it again Seto he's still trying to understand that he is half angel."
"I didn't do it without his permission though. I asked first and he said it was ok."
"Lalna what the hell?" I got up.
"I'll talk to him."
"Please don't be mad, it was my idea," Seto said quickly. Axel sighed.
"I'm going outside to cool off." I went into the kitchen and I saw Lalna trying to hold an ice pack on his back.
"Here I got it," I said walking over to him. I took it and held it. Lalna winced and hissed slightly.
"Thanks," He said quietly.
"Lalna what were you thinking?" I asked calmly.
"I don't know. I thought maybe seeing them would help or something."
"Lalna you know that seal is probably there for a reason." He sighed.
"I know, I just thought seeing them would help me prove something. Or maybe I could learn how to use them."
"Maybe, but let's not do anything stupid ok? There are people after you and Astrid and I rather not draw any attention towards us."
"I'm sorry." I smiled softly.
"I'm not mad, but just- If you want to talk to someone I'm alway here, and so is Axel and Astrid and anyone you feel like talking to." He nodded.
"Ok." I put the ice pack down and gently hugged him.
"I know this is all confusing but you don't have to do any of this alone." He hugged me back and I sighed. "Alright, you go get something to eat. I'm going to go get Axel." He nodded.
"Ok." I let go of him and went outside and found Axel.
"Sorry I needed to cool off."
"I know, I talked to him."
"Okay well I just got called into work I don't know when I'm going to be home."
"Ok, I'll make sure nobody gets hurt."
"Thank you Skyla." He said walking inside. I sighed and went inside. Hopefully no one was going to get hurt.
