I woke up to someone petting my hair. I groaned and looked up. Ridge smiled at me.

"Hey," He said softly.

"Hey," I yawned.

"How are you doing?"

"I'm ok, are you doing any better?" I asked sitting up. He nodded.

"Yeah, breathing is getting easier." I smiled at him.

"That's good." I sighed and looked at my hands. "So, when do you think they'll let you out?"

"It might be a while," He sighed softly. "My throat still hurts and I have a few broken ribs still. They're probably not letting me go anywhere."

"That sucks," I muttered.

"Hey," He said softly grabbing my hand. I looked up at him. "I'll be ok. I will be better sooner than you think then we can do whatever we want. I promise, and I'll be careful this time." I smiled a little.

"You better, I don't like you being stuck here."

"You don't like it? I hate it here." I giggled and sighed.

"I'm glad you're doing better." He nodded then winced. "Ridge?" I asked concerned.

"I'm fine," He said quickly. "My head just hurts, that's all."

"Are you sure? I can get a doctor."

"No, I'm fine." I bit my lip and sighed.

"For some reason I really don't believe you." He smiled sheepishly.

"That's cause you know me." I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"I'm going to get a doctor." I got up and Ridge held onto my arm.

"No please don't, I'm fine. Don't go," He said pouting a little.

"Ridge-" The door opened and Ryan came in.

"Hey you're awake. How is everything?"

"Ridge's head hurts," I said quickly.

"No it doesn't," He said a little too loud for his voice. His voice squeaked and cracked a little.

"Um, it might be cause of the concussion, I'm not sure. I'll see if I can get you in for a scan."

"But-" Ryan left before he could say anything else. Ridge sighed and looked at his hands.

"Sorry Ridge, but we're just worried about you," I said softly. Ridge didn't say anything, then he started to get up. "What are you doing?" I quickly went over to him and gently held him down so he couldn't get out of the bed.

"Lalna," He whined.

"No, you're not supposed to get up. You're still hurt and I won't let you hurt yourself even more."

"I'm not going to get hurt walking around."

"You could trip and rip stitches like you did when we were in town, or you could hit your head an-and... You're not getting up," I tried to say it firmly but my voice squeaked. He sighed.

"Lalna-"

"Okay so I can get in there in but it won't be for another hour." Ryan said walking in. I quickly got off Ridge and nodded.

"O-Ok, um so what should we do until then?" I asked softly.

"Uh I'm not sure, are you feeling any other pain or is it just your head?"

"I'm fine," Ridge sighed. "I just hate this room."

"I'm sure it will be okay for you to walk around, you just need to be careful." Ridge smirked and I rolled my eyes.
