The Dark Hour

Seto was waiting for me and Ridge outside. We all walked home quietly and as soon as we were all inside Seto went to go sit on the roof and I got started on my homework.

"Um Lalna?" Ridge said nervously. I looked up at him.

"What?"

"Do you think Skyla is mad at me?" I blinked.

"Why would she be mad at you?"

"I-It's kinda my fault that Ty is um-"

"It's not your fault. You didn't know this would happen, I didn't think it would happen. I was going to let them take me so they wouldn't hurt you."

"If you were really there then I wouldn't have left. I don't want you to get hurt either." I smiled at him.

"Then we both should be careful." Ridge nodded and sat down next to me.

"I'm sorry about this."

"Don't be, I'm sure Ty is going to be fine." Ridge nodded.

"Ok."

"Do you have any homework?"

"No, I got it all done in class."

"Ok, well I got to do my math."

"I'll be in the living room." He got up and left, and I sighed. I made sure he couldn't see me before I took off my shirt and quietly stretched my wings out. I tucked them behind me and focused on my math.

I had three more problems left when an alert on the TV started blaring out. I quickly hid my wings and put my shirt back on before I ran into the living room.

"What's going on?" I asked Ridge.

"I don't know, this is on every channel."

"This is a service alert. Be on alert, stay indoors after ten o'clock p.m. and don't go outside until six o'clock a.m. This is your only warning." This played three more times before the TV went blank then the normal news started playing.

"What was that?" Ridge asked worried.

"I-I'm not sure." The phone started ringing and I quickly answered it. "Hello?"

"Hey is Astrid over there?" Axel asked.

"No, why?"

"After the alert went off her and Vincent ran off and Ryan called me and told me at work. I can't find them anywhere."

"Where would they have gone? And do you know where that message came from?"

"No I'm not sure but apparently what Ryan was saying that her and Vincent knew I'm not sure where they would of gone."

"Ok, I'll tell you if they come over."

"Okay thank you Lalna."

"No problem, I'll talk to you later then."

"Okay bye." He hung up. I sighed and sat down by Ridge.

"Who was that?" Ridge asked turning off the TV.

"Axel, Astrid and Vincent ran off."

"Oh ok." I sighed and leaned on Ridge. I was tired. I heard the front door open and I looked up. Seto walked in and sighed.

"Gabriel got a hold of one of the TV stations and sent out a message. Did you see it?" Ridge nodded.

"Yeah we saw it." He nodded.

"Ok good, just checking." Seto went back outside and I closed my eyes again.

"Tired?" I nodded. "Ok, here." He moved me to where my head was in his lap and I yawned. Ridge gently rubbed my back and I slowly fell asleep.
