I should not have left the house. Or maybe I should've just left before my cousin showed up to meet the gang leader but I wanted to know if I was actually right. If these people were actually going after my friends. I ended up getting caught but I got away, after I fought with a couple of the people there. My hands hurt as well as my face, and ribs. I was hoping Axel wouldn't be home and that everyone would not be in the living room. I quietly snuck through the front door and no one was in the living room, thank god. I quickly ran to my bedroom and quietly shut the door and locked it. I sighed.
"Let's see the damage," I muttered. I took off my jacket and my shirt and looked in the mirror on the dresser. There were bruises forming on my sides, and on my face. My knuckles were red, they felt a bit raw and they were bleeding a little bit. My right cheek was a bit swollen and red and I'm sure it was going to bruise up a lot. I sighed and sat down on the bed.
I was dead, as soon as anyone saw me. Ok maybe not so much with Lalna but everyone else was going to freak out. I put my shirt and hoodie back on and I pulled up the hood. Thank god it was just a fist fight cause I would have not survived anything else. I needed to tell Astrid what my cousin was up to but I didn't want her to see me like this. Maybe I could text her? No she's going to ask questions anyways and maybe ask where I am. I was just freaking screwed either way. I laid down on the bed and stared at the ceiling. I closed my eyes for a minute then I heard the door open. I quickly got up, making sure my hood was still up, and faced away from the door.
"Ridge are you in here?" Astrid called out.
"Yeah," I called back.
"Okay Lalna was wondering he wants to show you something."
"Oh um, where is he?" I asked trying to stay calm.
"He's outside we were out there for most of the day doing uh things come on Ridge. He's really excited. Uh why do you have a hood on?"
"Um I got cold."
"I kinda don't believe you Ridge." I didn't believe myself either so I didn't blame her. She walked into the room and closed the door. "You're not leaving till you tell me what's up. You're being really weird lately."
"Nothing is going on."
"Ridge I know something is wrong, cause you have left the house a lot and normally when you leave the house you also leave with Lalna."
"I left early and I didn't want to wake him up." She sighed.
"Whatever I'm not going to push you but you better get your ass outside." She said walking out of the room. I sighed and got up. Please let it be dark enough for them not to see my face. I quickly went outside and just stopped.
"Uhh, what's going on here?" I asked slowly. Lalna quickly turned around and smiled.
"Hey, look Ty unsealed my wings," He said excitedly. I nodded.
"I can see that."
"And I taught him how to hide them, since I hide mine all the time. We had a little issue with spies but me and Seto took care of them didn't we." Seto nodded.
"Yeah, one of them almost hit me," He said sounding amused.
"I helped too," Ty whined.
"Very little, but he kinda helped."
"Hey I was a very good distraction. They couldn't tell me and Lalna apart."
"But Lalna was almost calm you were running around saying you can't catch me."
"They don't know how he acts." I stifled my laughter.
"That sounds interesting."
"I guess but you were really annoying afterwards. But either way Lalna has the hang on his wings we just have to teach him how to fly now." Lalna smiled.
