The Dark Hour

"So you think that you can heal my foot now." Ryan nodded and cut the cast off, my foot was a purple and black.

"Yeah, I can heal it now, it's been a couple of week so my magic should help you out, at least you can walk around and do everything again." I nodded. Ryan's hand glowed blue and the bruising went away. Ryan grabbed my foot and moved it around.

"How does that feel?"

"It feels normal."

"Here try to walk around." I nodded and Ryan helped me down and I started to walk around and it felt like I never broke it.

"It doesn't feel like I broke it any."

"That's good." I put my shoe on and the door opened and Skyla walked in. "Sky I thought that you were still at your dad's. When did you get here?"

"A few minutes ago, my dad just wanted to talk about a few things then he had to leave for this assignment," She sighed. "So I looked through the Med Bay and Seto was gone, and Ridge isn't there either."

"Hmm, I think they let Seto go and I'm not sure with Ridge did you check with Lalna?" Ryan asked.

"No, I should though." I nodded.

"Yeah, I'm sure he would be with Lalna. Well I should get going, Vincent is suppose to be training Axel and when I left it wasn't going that well." She nodded.

"I'm going to go check up on the both of them. We'll see you later, right?"

"Hopefully." I said with a smile. "Depends if I have stuff to do I'll give you call." Ryan nodded. I popped a piece of candy in my mouth and went back home. I sighed and walked to the training yard outside, and walked over to them.

"How did it go?" Axel asked stopping.

"It went good, Ryan healed my foot." Axel nodded.

"That's good, does it feel better? It doesn't hurt when you walk on it does it?" I shook my head.

"No it feels much better thanks for worrying about me Axel."

"What's a boyfriend for?" He said kissing the top of my head. I smiled then I started to laugh since Vincent hit Axel on top of his head. "What was that for?"

"Break time's over let's get back to work." Axel let me go and picked up the wooden sword and they went back to fighting. I smiled and walked off and went to the willow tree and ran my hands over the gravestone.

"Happy Birthday Edward." I sat down and sniffled. I placed my head on the gravestone. "I miss you, this is going to be the second birthday without you. It's still feels weird without you here. I met your brother Ty, he seems smart he kinda looks like you to be honest. I met someone, been together for almost half a year. I think that you guys would get along I think you would like him. You have no idea how hard this, it was really hard for me to move on with my life when you left."

"I wasn't expecting to fall in love with you like I did." I wiped away my tears. "But I did and when you died there was nothing that I could do to save you. I can't do this, I can't act like everything's okay, when I still really love you. But I moved on and you would be happy. I love you Edward and nothing is going to change that."

I groaned and woke up in my room, I looked around and saw Axel and he was sitting on the bed. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. How did I get in here?

"Hey sleeping beauty."

"How did I get in here?"

"I carried you, you cried yourself to sleep on Edward's grave."

"Oh sorry, today is his birthday, so it's kinda hard on me."

"Trust me I understand Astrid you don't need to apologize, you guys were going to get married. I'm not going to pretend that I know how much you hurt, with losing someone you were going to marry. I love you if you need time today then take it I will understand." I smiled and laid my head on his chest and he leaned back and wrapped his arm around me and played with my hair. I didn't say anything I could feel his heartbeat, it calmed me down. I smiled.

"Thank you Axel."

"For what?"

"Being in my life, for helping me out right now. I just want to stay here like this."

"Okay." I stayed there for I don't know how long. I was scared if I left that I was going to lose him, and lose myself again. I can't go through with that.
