The Dark Hour

I coughed as I was trying to find an exit or find Skyla and Valerie. I'm still confused on how this fire started, it just came out of nowhere. I jumped back when a support beam fell down. I saw movement before me it looked like Skyla maybe Lalna.

"Sky!? Lalna!?" I called out, coughing.

"Astrid!" It wasn't either of them. It was Valerie.

"Valerie!? What's going on?" I said quickly dodging the fire and making it over to her.

"This was my fault. I got mad and my magic got out of control. I calmed down after Ridge hit me with a blast of water. I've been looking for anyone still in here."

"They might be outside already. Do you know where the exit is?"

"I can move the flames out of the way and there's plenty of holes in the ceiling we can get out of."

"You mean fly?" I bit my bottom lip, I'm not sure if my wings are healed enough for that.

"I can use my fire magic to shoot me upwards. You can get on my back if you want, I'm sure I can get the both of us out of this." I nodded.

"Okay." She kneeled down and looked at me.

"Come on." I got on her back and she used her flames and got us out of the building. We softly got on the ground and I ran to the front where everyone should have been. I saw Ryan getting snow on Layla, it looked like she was covered in burn marks. Cas was drinking water leaning against a tree. I didn't see Ridge, Lalna or Skyla.

"Val!" Layla yelled.

"Layla," She sighed and ran over to her. "Are you ok? Where's Ridge?"

"H-He uh he's still in there, I don't know where. He pushed me out of the doors and I guess something fell in front of it cause I couldn't open it. He said that he was going to find another exit but I haven't seen him yet."

"Oh that's not good. He's already hurt. I'm going back in to look for him."

"Val please be careful." She was going to say something when the whole building fell down. She covered her mouth and she looked like she was going to cry.

"Astrid get Layla covered in snow Valerie snap out of it and let's get in there."

"Ryan you can't go in there!" I said worriedly.

"Hell I can't two of my friends are in there and so is my girlfriend I'm going in there." He snapped. "Valerie come on Ridge needs you." She nodded and took a deep breath.

"Ok." Before they even moved I saw Skyla with Lalna behind her running from around the back of the building.

"Skyla!" Ryan yelled running over to them. I sighed but I still didn't see Ridge. Valerie ran back into the building. I hope she can find him. I got Layla covered in snow to help the burn.

"Um A-Astrid you're a demon right." I nodded.

"Yeah what's up."

"Um well Aaron kinda used a seal to block my magic and I had Cas try to take it off but we just got shocked every time."

"It's a demon seal it's like an angel seal but only full fledged demons can undo it. Since Cas is half demon half angel it won't work." I said tracing it with my finger it glowed red and disappeared. I covered her up with some more snow and she seemed to relax.

"Feeling better?" She nodded.

"It's numbing my burns, it doesn't hurt that much." I nodded.

"Just stay there for awhile." She nodded and I got some food out of the pouch and walked over to Cas. "Here eat this. How are you feeling?"

"Um m-my ankle hurts, a-and so does my arm," He said softly. He took the food and slowly started eating it. I nodded.

"Well you're arm is broken, I think you're ankle might but I could be wrong. I'll have Ryan take a look at you. I'll get you some pain pills." I said walking off, I grabbed two pills and handed them to Cas and I handed two to Layla so she wouldn't be in too much pain when she get's out of the snow. Ryan was talking to Skyla and Lalna but then Lalna ran off. What the hell?
